In today’s world, students and professionals alike struggle to find the right way to learn tech skills. Platforms like Coursera, Udemy, and YouTube offer tons of content, but the problem is overwhelm and lack of personalization. Learners often jump between incomplete tutorials, outdated content, or generic roadmaps that don’t match their current skill level. Collaboration is also scatteret Discord communities, GitHub repos, and random study groups leaving learners without a structured space to learn + apply + collaborate.

SkillSync solves this by providing an AI-powered personalized learning hub where learners get:

1. Dynamic Learning Paths – Instead of fixed courses, AI tailors a roadmap based on your current knowledge, career goals, and preferred learning style.

2. Integrated Project Collaboration – Users can instantly form/join teams, fetch GitHub repos, and build projects together. AI assists by suggesting resources, explaining tricky code, and generating starter boilerplates.

Many people have difficulty maintaining work life balance and cannot find the time to pursue some hobbies for relaxing. With the busy lives of most professionals, they often having long and busy working hours, and often have long commute hours as well. With all this, it becomes nearly impossible to find time every week where they are free and can travel and attend classes for learning their hobby. Further, some people often wish to pursue certain hobbies for which it might be difficult to find instructors. Even if they do, accessibility is another major issue. The travel time should be as less as possible, and the schedule should meet their requirements as they have a busy routine. Due to all these constraints, people often have to forgo their talent and passion. Pursuing a hobby will also boost their mental health, and improve their skills, as well as efficiency at their workplace.

So, in order to tackle this problem, one can have an online platform or app, which gives options to pursue variety of hobbies for all individuals of all ages, whenever they want and wherever they want. This app is flexible in the following ways –

1. With the help of the platform, experts from all over the world could connect with aspiring amateurs and help them develop their skills.

2. The lessons will have an option of both recorded and live lessons, so that individuals can pursue their hobby as per their convenience.

3. The platform also serves as a place to connect with fellow enthusiasts from all over the globe and learn and progress with peers.

4. The various hobbies can be listed in a systematic manner, like, instruments, calligraphy, learning new languages, reading and writing, martial arts, etc. And people are free to choose their interests.

5. With such huge level of integration and options for developing one’s skills by pursing their hobbies, the platform would be in wide usage.

6. The platform would also allow individuals to keep track of their progress.

7. Both teachers and students could register themselves on the platform.

8. The number of hobbies provided by the platform would keep increasing as people with experience in different fields decide to use the platform for teaching aspiring amateurs, globally.

9. The students could be given annual packages based on what hobby they wish to pursue, and could also be given combo packs if they wish to pursue multiple hobbies at once.

This way, people could pursue and explore new hobbies and find the time to relax and rejuvenate based on their own schedule. This platform would give them freedom to learn, relax and develop their skills despite having a busy schedule. 

This benefits people globally and of all ages, who wish to learn new things from experts all over the world, as per their convenience. So, this platform would have a global reach.

This problem matters to me because I too have faced similar problems. Often, it becomes difficult to find time to pursue one’s hobbies, but this platform would make it easier. With so many options available at a single place, people would find it easier to balance their work and find time for themselves. I feel, this is a very important in today’s world as people often neglect their passion due to exhausting routines.

What if learning a skill wasn’t taught — it was transferred biologically, like passing on a memory?

Training and learning (especially for animals used in research, therapy, or agriculture) is slow, resource-intensive, and inconsistent. Right now, knowledge or skills must be taught repeatedly, and there’s no way to biologically “share” learned behaviors between individuals.

Microbiome research shows gut bacteria can influence mood, cognition, and learning ability — but current approaches (like fecal microbiota transplants) only shift general states (e.g., anxiety, cognition). No existing solution encodes and transfers specific learned behaviors or preferences between individuals or species.

I’m fascinated by how biology stores and shares information. Seeing that microbiomes already shape behavior made me wonder: what if we could program them to transfer learned information itself? This could change how we approach training, education, and even data storage.

1. Engineer gut bacteria with molecular “recorders” (CRISPR spacers or epigenetic switches) that activate during specific learning events.

2. Introduce these bacteria into a trained donor animal so they “capture” the learning signature.

Even though NGOs try to serve them assistance, there is no systematic, scalable model that enables the redistribution to happen at a fast, dependable, and city-wide level.

• Excess food donation is not supported in food delivery platforms.
• Donors don't usually know where or how to donate excess food.

Strengthening the immune system is crucial, but people do not understand their immunity is weak until they get ill. Medical tests for iron, Vitamin D, or inflammation are expensive, time-consuming, and inaccessible to most individuals. That's where this concept comes in.

My concept is a straightforward, paper-based test strip that tests for general markers of immune health from a single drop of blood, urine, or saliva. A strip that detects iron, for instance, turns a clear blue color when deficiency is indicated, providing a quick and cost-effective measure of anemia risk. Potential future iterations would detect Vitamin D, C-reactive protein, or even salivary IgA, allowing immunity monitoring to be speedy and convenient.

Who would benefit?

1. Students and working professionals who want to monitor their well-being.

2. Competitive athletes who must track recovery and nutrition.

3. Rural communities remote from diagnostic laboratories.

I think this concept personally because immune health is the foundation of everything—from student productivity to immunity against infections in at-risk populations. A small, inexpensive strip can simplify health checks, making them accessible and possibly life-saving.

One of the pressing problems today is water wastage. Millions of litres of pure water are lost each day through thoughtless use—people fill bottles too full, neglect to hydrate properly (causing health problems), or simply throw away half-full bottles. That got me thinking: what if there was an easy device that not only conserves water, but also encourages healthy drinking habits? That's how the thought of AquaSaver crossed my mind.

AquaSaver appears like a normal fashionable water bottle but is constructed with intelligent sensors. It monitors your water consumption throughout the day, reminds you to hydrate, and notifies you when you're near overfilling the bottle. The bottle contains a purification filter within so remaining water can be reused without danger rather than be wasted. It also displays your hydration level, today's water consumption, and even presents community challenges (such as "Save 5 liters this week") to create awareness about water conservation.

Technically, AquaSaver can incorporate a capacitive water level sensor, a removable filter cartridge, and a Bluetooth chip with a connected smartphone. A rechargeable battery drives the system for weeks. The bottle itself is of eco-friendly material to prevent contributing to the plastic waste issue.

The advantages are twofold:

• To society – minimizing wastage of water, a bottle at a time. Families, schools, and workplaces could implement AquaSaver in order to instill a culture of sustainability.

My idea is to solve this problem with a website that makes booking a function hall as simple as booking a hotel room online.

The platform will bring all verified function halls in Hyderabad under one roof. Customers can search using filters such as date, area, budget, and number of guests. To confirm, they pay a minimum reservation fee of 10% securely online, and a digital booking contract is instantly generated between the user and the hall owner. This ensures trust, prevents last-minute disputes, and provides peace of mind.

Today, a few websites do exist, but they lack real transparency. Many do not show live availability, don’t integrate proper payment systems, and fail to offer legal booking confirmations. These gaps leave customers skeptical and hall owners underserved. My platform directly addresses these issues by offering verified listings, clear pricing, digital contracts, and a safe payment process.

The benefits are clear: customers save time and energy, hall owners get better visibility and consistent bookings, and the platform earns revenue through commissions and premium listings. Technically, the site will be built on a scalable cloud-based system to handle high traffic during wedding seasons. Every day, particularly during the 10 AM to 12 PM peak hours, hundreds of students at Mahindra University face a frustrating search for a parking spot in the Multi-Level Car Park (MLCP). This daily hunt involves slowly circling three floors, wasting valuable time and fuel, only to potentially find the lot completely full. This inefficient process leads to unnecessary stress and frequent tardiness for mid-morning classes and labs, impacting a significant portion of the student body.

The Proposed Solution 

ParkSmart MU is a smart parking guidance system designed to eliminate the guesswork and frustration of finding a parking spot. The system works by installing small, ultrasonic sensors above each parking bay to detect vehicle presence in real-time.This information is then relayed to Large Digital Displays at the entrance of the MLCP, showing the exact number of vacant spots available on each floor (P1: 17 | P2: 8 | P3: FULL).

Problems Solved 

By providing accurate, real-time data, ParkSmart MU transforms the chaotic parking routine into a seamless, efficient process. It drastically cuts down search time from 10-15 minutes to under a minute, directly reducing fuel consumptionand associated carbon emissions. Most importantly, it alleviates the stress and anxiety for students rushing to class, ensuring they can arrive on campus calm and ready to learn.

Smart Water Leakage Detection System for Homes

Problem:
Every year, millions of liters of water are wasted due to unnoticed leakages in household and commercial pipelines. Many leaks remain hidden until visible damage occurs, leading not only to water wastage but also to costly repairs and property damage. In water-scarce regions, such losses worsen the crisis and it is very difficult to maintain the house as the walls will slowly get wet all the time like the strengthens of the house will reduce gradually and there will always be a different kind of smell which disturbs us

Solution:
My idea is to develop an IoT-based Smart Water Leakage Detection System that uses small wireless sensors installed along water pipelines and near common leakage points. These sensors detect abnormal water flow or moisture levels and instantly notify the homeowner through a mobile app. In case of a major leak, the system can automatically shut off the water supply to prevent flooding and minimize damage. Over time, this can be integrated with smart home systems like our smart watches and we can track the water flow daily irrespective of time and if at all the sensors are damaged will get replaced by the next minute as they are many sensors through out the pipe that won't be a problem and there will be a maintenance test for every 3 months so that there won't be any issue and if everything works well even after 3 months the maintenance itself blocks the water and checks whether the sensors are working or is there any issue it prevents in a way where people can't find the difference but there is always a big difference when you keep your house in sale . the inspection will tell you the proper use of it when they check the quality of the house and it helps you in smooth moment of water in all the taps and tanks so that there is no chance of waste which will stop your water flow
