I’ve noticed that while quick-commerce (blinkit, zepto, etc.) platforms have already made personalized, same-day deliveries possible in major cities, they’re still missing the mark in tier 2 and 3 cities, where such services are limited. This leaves consumers in these areas struggling to find meaningful, last-minute gifts that feel personal and special. Here’s my idea: we could partner local gift shops with Q-commerce platforms to offer customizable gifts, like personalized jewelry or local artisan products, delivered within hours. These gifts would be fully customizable—engraved, wrapped, or tailored to the occasion—and would cater to consumers outside major cities, filling the gap in tier 2 and 3 markets. This solution would benefit consumers by providing access to unique, fast-delivered gifts, especially in smaller cities where options are limited. Local gift shops get exposure and access to a larger customer base without having to manage complex e-commerce systems. And Q-commerce platforms expand their offerings, attracting new customers from underserved areas. For me, this matters because I’ve seen how hard it can be to find thoughtful, personalized gifts outside big cities. This solution would make it easier for people in all areas to give meaningful gifts while supporting local businesses.

In engineering and design, both AutoCAD and Fusion 360 are very popular tools. AutoCAD is mainly used for making accurate 2D drawings, while Fusion 360 is widely used for 3D modeling, simulation, and even manufacturing. The problem comes when someone wants to take a 2D design made in AutoCAD and turn it into a 3D model in Fusion 360. Right now, this is not simple at all.

Most people either redraw the entire model again in Fusion 360, which takes a lot of time, or they use file formats like DXF or STEP to import the design. But these imports often don’t work well. Common issues include shapes not getting recognized, scaling problems, missing dimensions, and broken sketches. This means users spend extra hours fixing errors or remaking the whole model. For students, engineers, and small companies, this can be very frustrating.

My idea is to build a tool that can directly convert AutoCAD 2D drawings into fully editable Fusion 360 3D models. The tool would not just copy the drawing but would understand the lines, circles, layers, and dimensions in AutoCAD. Then, it would create 3D sketches and bodies inside Fusion 360 automatically. For example, if a closed profile is drawn in AutoCAD, the tool could extrude it into a 3D solid in Fusion. This way, the design is ready to use in just minutes, instead of hours.

The people who will benefit most are engineering students, product designers, architects, and small-scale manufacturers. Students will save valuable time during projects, engineers can speed up their workflow, and manufacturers can move faster from 2D designs to production.

This problem matters to me because I have faced it myself. In my projects, I often had to rebuild the same design twice — once in AutoCAD for 2D and then again in Fusion for 3D. It made me lose interest and slowed down my progress. I realized that many others face the same issue. That is why a direct converter can make a big difference. It will not only save time but also encourage people to be more creative, since they don’t have to worry about repeating the same work again and again.

HEALTH CARE WITHOUT THE WAIT

Patients often wait hours for doctor consultations, lab reports, or even to know the status of their appointment. This causes stress, delays in treatment, and overcrowding in hospitals.
Proposed solution: A smart hospital queue management system (mobile + kiosk + web) that shows real-time updates of waiting times, lets patients check in remotely, and prioritizes based on severity (triage).

Highlight gaps in the current solutions/market
•Many hospitals still use manual token systems → inefficient.
•Existing apps are hospital-specific; no unified platform.
•Lack of integration between doctor schedules, lab results, and patient records.
•Elderly patients often don’t benefit from digital-only solutions.

People who benefits from this are
•Patients: Reduced stress, better predictability of waiting times, remote updates.
•Doctors & staff: Less chaos in waiting rooms, smoother workflow.
•Hospitals: Improved patient satisfaction, better resource management.
•Community: Faster healthcare delivery → better overall health outcomes.

This problem matters to me because

I’ve personally seen elderly relatives wait for hours in crowded hospital corridors, sometimes even missing their slot because of confusion. Fixing this means healthcare becomes more humane and efficient.

OptionalTechnical details
•Integration with EHR (Electronic Health Records): So patients can also see their reports and prescriptions in the same system.

With cities like Hyderabad which are rapidly growing, with expanding populations, busy IT corridors, and dense residential clusters. With this growth come challenges such as theft, traffic violations, women’s safety concerns, and delayed emergency responses. Current solutions—CCTV cameras, isolated security patrols, or citizen helplines—work in fragments but lack real-time integration. For example, a CCTV camera may capture a crime, but without automated alerts or a quick response system, the information is often only useful after the fact. Similarly, emergency numbers exist, but locating and dispatching resources quickly remains a bottleneck.

My idea is to build an Integrated Smart Security Grid (ISSG): a city-wide platform that combines AI-powered surveillance, IoT-enabled street sensors, and citizen participation into one responsive system. CCTV cameras would be upgraded with AI video analytics to detect unusual activity (loitering near ATMs, sudden crowd gatherings, reckless driving) and automatically send alerts to local police stations. Smart streetlights could be embedded with panic buttons and environmental sensors, giving citizens quick access to help while also monitoring noise, pollution, and traffic. A citizen mobile app would tie into this grid, allowing residents to report suspicious activity with geotagged evidence, and track response progress in real time.

This benefits:

  • Citizens, who gain safer streets, quicker emergency help, and stronger trust in law enforcement.

  • Law enforcement agencies, who get real-time, actionable data instead of delayed reports.

  • City administrators, who can make data-driven decisions about deploying patrols and resources.

This matters to me because I’ve noticed how, in growing cities like Hyderabad, people often feel unsafe walking late at night or commuting in less crowded areas. If security systems were smarter and more connected, crimes could be prevented rather than just investigated later.

Technically, ISSG would use AI video analytics, IoT sensors, cloud-based dashboards, and mobile integration, creating a 24/7 safety net that grows stronger as more citizens and systems connect.

Waiting in long queues at hospitals, government offices, banks, and even cafeterias is a frustrating everyday problem. People often lose valuable time standing in line, which creates stress and reduces productivity. This is especially challenging for senior citizens, working professionals, and students who cannot afford to waste hours waiting. Current solutions like token machines or appointment apps either lack real-time updates or are not accessible to everyone, leaving a big gap in the market.

My idea is to create a Smart Queue Management System (SQMS)—a mobile and web-based platform that allows people to take a digital token remotely, track their real-time position in the queue, and receive notifications such as “Your turn is in 10 minutes.” The system will use basic AI to predict waiting times by analyzing queue flow and adjusting for delays.

Unlike existing apps, this solution will be lightweight, multilingual, and SMS-compatible so even people without smartphones can benefit. It can also integrate with simple digital displays at service points to ensure inclusivity.

Who benefits?

Users: Save time, plan schedules, and avoid unnecessary waiting.

Service Providers: Reduce crowd mismanagement, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Community: Reduced overcrowding increases safety, comfort, and accessibility—especially important post-pandemic.

This problem matters to me because I have personally experienced hours wasted in hospital queues where elderly patients struggled to stand for long periods. A simple, accessible system like this could make daily life smoother and more respectful of people’s time.

Technical Details: The system will connect to a cloud-based server, support QR code check-ins, SMS alerts, and integrate with IoT displays for seamless operation.

HerCycle : Smart Reproductive Health

The Problem

Millions of women face reproductive health challenges such as PCOS, irregular cycles, and hormonal imbalances. With today’s fast-paced lifestyles, awareness of these conditions is increasing, but many women still don’t know what steps to take next. Additionally, most are unaware of how genetics influence reproductive health, making personalized guidance difficult to access.

Gaps In The Current Market

While there are apps that focus on cycle prediction, and some even use AI, they fall short in several areas:

  • Lack of personalization: Most apps do not account for hereditary factors or daily lifestyle changes, making their predictions and advice less accurate.
  • No actionable guidance: Users rarely receive small, practical steps to help regulate their cycles.
  • Limited use of genetic data: Current apps rely mostly on self-reported lifestyle and bodily changes, but have not yet integrated genetic insights to create truly personalized recommendations.

The Solution

A smart period tracker that goes beyond simple cycle logging. It acts as a daily AI-powered health coach, combining a quick 1-minute daily quiz with ongoing lifestyle tracking to generate tailored micro-goals that help users regulate their cycles, manage symptoms, and adopt healthier habits.

The quizzes allow the AI to predict, schedule, and adjust period dates based on lifestyle changes and logged early or late periods, making cycle tracking more accurate over time.

Gamification elements like badges and streaks keep users engaged. In the near future, genetic data will be integrated to further personalize recommendations. All guidance is verified by healthcare professionals, ensuring safe and actionable insights.

Who Benefits

  • Primary users: Women with mild to moderate reproductive health challenges such as irregular cycles, hormonal imbalances, or early-stage PCOS who want to better understand their body and regulate their cycles naturally.
  • Secondary users: Young women seeking to optimize reproductive health, especially those with hereditary risk factors.
  • Healthcare providers: Doctors, nutritionists, and wellness coaches can leverage insights to provide more personalized guidance.

Note: The app is not intended to replace medical treatment for severe conditions or users who require prescription medication, these users should continue under professional care.

Why This Problem Matters To Me

I personally experienced PCOS in 11th and 12th grade, and it took me a long journey to understand how to reverse it. This experience showed me how challenging it can be for women to navigate reproductive health on their own. I want to educate and empower women to take actionable steps for their health in today’s fast-paced lives. By integrating genetic data, the app can provide insights into hereditary factors, helping users make informed lifestyle and wellness decisions, something I wish I had known earlier.

Agriculture is the backbone of India's economy, yet the farmers who form its foundation are often the most vulnerable. A critical issue is their exploitation by middlemen, who leverage a lack of transparent pricing to buy produce at unfairly low rates, creating a cycle of debt and distress for farming communities.

I have seen (in NEWS) the heartbreaking sight of farmers, after months of relentless effort, dumping their fresh vegetables onto the road. This isn't a protest; it's an act of desperation because the price they were offered wouldn't even cover the cost of transportation. Seeing their livelihood and hard work discarded like that is an injustice that motivated me to find a real solution.

This is why I propose ValueCrop, a government-linked mobile bidding platform designed for transparency and fairness. Our system displays the official, government-updated Mandi/MSP rates for all crops in real-time. Farmers can easily list their produce with details on quantity and quality. Government-verified middlemen within a specific geographic radius can then place competitive bids directly to the farmer. This hyper-local approach solves logistical nightmares, ensuring faster and cheaper transportation. Governament can track everything like purchases and prices.

The benefits are clear:

  • For Farmers: They get fair, market-driven prices through competitive bidding, are protected from scams by dealing only with verified buyers, and are empowered with real-time market information.

  • For Middlemen: They gain access to a structured, legitimate, and transparent platform, which helps in efficiently procuring a reliable supply of produce from their local area.

  • For the Government & Economy: It ensures that price support policies like MSP are effectively implemented on the ground, reduces corruption, and strengthens the entire agricultural supply chain, leading to a more stable rural economy.

Through secure digital payments and transparent transaction histories, ValueCrop aims to bridge the information gap, ensuring that a farmer's produce gets its true value and their hard work is rewarded with the dignity they rightfully deserve.

Thermo Road

Every winter, icy roads turn into danger zones, causing countless accidents and costing communities billions. The usual fix—spreading salt and chemicals—might clear the ice, but it slowly eats away at roads, bridges, and even harms the environment. That’s where ThermoRoad comes in. Imagine roads that keep themselves warm—using built-in conductive layers powered by renewable energy—so ice never has a chance to form in the first place. We’re starting small, with pilot projects in busy intersections where accidents are most common. These trials will help us prove how much safer, cheaper, and greener roads can be when they prevent ice on their own. If successful, ThermoRoad could transform how cities and transport authorities keep people moving safely through winter.

Food wastage

A major real world problem today is food waste. Large amounts of edible food are discarded daily by restaurants, supermarkets and households even though many people struggle with hunger and food insecurity. This also contributes to environmental problems like green house gas emissions and wasted resources.Food wastage is a serious global issue, affecting both developed and developing countries. It occurs at every stage of the food supply chain—from production, transportation, and storage to retail and household consumption. According to global studies, nearly one-third of all food produced is wasted, which not only leads to loss of valuable resources like water, energy, and labor but also contributes significantly to environmental problems such as greenhouse gas emissions. At the consumer level, lack of awareness, over-purchasing, improper storage, and cultural habits are some of the main reasons food is wasted. Reducing food waste is crucial for ensuring food security, saving resources, and promoting sustainability.

Gaps in Current Solutions

  • Limited Accessibility of Solutions: Food donation systems are often unorganized and don’t reach the most vulnerable communities consistently.

  • Lack of Consumer Awareness: Many people are unaware of how small changes in buying and storing habits can significantly reduce waste.

  • Inefficient Supply Chains: In developing regions, poor infrastructure and inadequate cold storage facilities lead to huge post-harvest losses.

  • Short-Term Focus: Current solutions often focus on immediate waste reduction rather than building long-term sustainable practices.

  • Technology Gaps: Although smart apps for tracking expiry dates or redistributing food exist, they are not widely adopted due to lack of awareness or accessibility.

Who Benefits

  • Users/Consumers: Access to affordable or free meals.
  • Businesses: Lower waste disposal costs and improved social image.
  • Communities: Reduced hunger and positive environmental impact.
  • Farmers: Improved storage and supply chain solutions ensure their hard work does not go to waste.

  • The Environment: Reducing food waste lowers greenhouse gas emissions, conserves water, and reduces land use pressure.

Why It Matters to Me

This issue matters to me because I’ve seen good food being wasted at events and shops, and I believe technology can help create a bridge between excess and need.Food wastage matters to me because I believe food is one of the most valuable resources we have, yet it is often taken for granted. Seeing so much food thrown away while many people struggle with hunger feels deeply unfair and avoidable. As a student, I also see how small habits—like buying only what we need or storing food properly—can create a big difference.

Optional Technical Idea

My idea is to design a digital platform that connects local stores with nearby communities and charities so surplus food can be redistributed quickly.

Optical sensors can detect changes in color, texture, and gases released by food (like ethylene for fruits).

Each step of food movement (farm → storage → transport → retail) can be tracked

As a left-handed person, I’ve always felt the world wasn’t designed with us in mind. Simple tasks like using scissors, notebooks, can openers, or kitchen tools often turn into frustrating experiences. That’s why I thought of Lefties First—an idea to develop everyday products specifically designed for left-handed individuals.

Approximately 10–12% of the global population is left-handed, yet the market offers very few well-designed solutions for them. Most tools and gadgets are optimized for right-handed users, which creates discomfort, inefficiency, and even safety risks. Left-handed people often experience smudging when writing, awkward hand positions when using scissors, difficulty handling tools, and barriers in learning environments.

The main problem this idea aims to solve is the lack of accessible, affordable, and ergonomic products built for left-handed people. Existing products are often expensive, hard to find, or poorly designed, leaving many lefties to cope with tools that don’t meet their needs.

This idea would benefit left-handed individuals, parents and caregivers of left-handed kids, and thoughtful gift buyers. By designing products like left-handed scissors, notebooks with the spiral on the right, ergonomically shaped kitchen tools, and writing aids, we could help reduce discomfort, improve safety, boost efficiency, and promote confidence in lefties.

This matters to me personally because I have faced these challenges daily, and I believe that inclusive product design can make a huge difference in the lives of left-handed people.

Smart Wearable for Period Pain Relief

Menstrual pain is a challenge faced by millions of women every month. While heating pads and medications are commonly used, they are often bulky, outdated, or come with side effects. Current market options either lack comfort, appear too clinical, or fail to combine convenience with style—leaving a significant gap in women’s health technology.

My idea introduces a smart wearable waistband designed specifically for discreet and effective period pain relief. Unlike conventional heating belts, this device combines smart heating, vibration therapy, and gentle air compression into a compact, stylish, and lifestyle-friendly accessory. With front and back heating pads, it targets pain points more effectively, while customizable vibration modes help improve blood circulation and reduce discomfort.

What sets this apart is its adaptive control system. Integrated sensors maintain safe, precise temperature levels (35–45°C) which can be controlled uniquely and automatically optimize performance for comfort. A lightweight, fashion-forward design means it can be worn to class, the workplace, or even while traveling—without drawing unwanted attention. It connects to a mobile app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, allowing users to easily adjust modes, track usage, and receive cycle-based wellness reminders.

Gold has always been a safe and valuable investment, but there is one common issue – purity. Many people buy gold jewellery or coins without knowing if it is original or mixed with cheaper metals. Sometimes, small shops or local sellers cheat customers by selling low-quality or impure gold at a higher price. This creates a lot of trust problems between sellers and buyers.

My idea is to develop a portable gold purity tester, which will be a small and affordable gadget that anyone can use. The device will work with simple sensors or XRF (X-ray fluorescence) technology to check the purity of gold in real time. A person only needs to place the gold item on the device, and it will display the purity percentage (like 18K, 22K, or 24K).My idea is to develop a portable gold purity tester, which will be a small and affordable gadget that anyone can use. The device will work with simple sensors or XRF (X-ray fluorescence) technology to check the purity of gold in real time. A person only needs to place the gold item on the device, and it will display the purity percentage (like 18K, 22K, or 24K).

The main beneficiaries of this idea will be normal customers, jewellery shop owners, and gold loan providers who want to confirm the purity of gold before making a deal. This will help people avoid fraud, financial losses, and also build more confidence in the jewellery market.

This problem matters to me because gold is not only jewellery, but also savings for many families. Having a simple and reliable device like this can protect people’s hard-earned money and create more transparency in the gold business......

Problem

Large college campuses often feel like mini-cities. Students travel long distances daily — from hostels to lecture halls, labs, libraries, canteens, and sports complexes. Many end up late or exhausted before classes even begin. Walking everywhere takes too much time and energy, leaving students drained when they should be focused on learning and participating. A smoother, healthier, and more convenient way to move around is urgently needed.

Gaps in Current Solutions / Market

Some students bring their own bicycles, but these come with challenges: punctures, chain issues, theft, or the hassle of storing them during vacations. Others simply walk long distances every day, which is tiring and wastes valuable time. Public bike-sharing apps do exist in cities, but campuses are usually left out. Current campus transport options, if any, are limited and don’t always meet student needs. Clearly, there’s a gap between what students need and what is being offered.

Who Benefits?

  • Students: Save time, reduce stress, and stay healthier with an easy, reliable way to get around.

  • Universities: Improve their sustainability image and create a student-friendly environment without heavy investment in buses or vehicles.

  • Communities: Experience less congestion around campus gates and enjoy the benefits of a greener culture.

Why This Problem Matters to Me

I’ve often found myself rushing from my hostel to a lecture hall across campus, already tired before class even starts. Friends share the same frustration — wasting precious energy and minutes just on getting to class. Student life should be about exploring opportunities, not racing against time across campus. That’s why this idea feels so close to me: it solves a problem I’ve lived through and seen others struggle with.

Technical Details

CampusCycle would function through docking stations placed strategically around campus. Students can unlock a cycle using their ID card or a simple app, ride it across campus, and leave it at another dock. Pricing would be minimal — ₹2–3 per ride or a monthly pass cheaper than a cup of coffee. The system could run on solar-powered stations, with GPS-enabled cycles for security. Centralized maintenance would ensure that students never need to worry about repairs.

One of the biggest challenges in today's design and engineering world is that Computer-Aided Design (CAD) softwares, while powerful, are not always user-friendly. Beginners and even experienced professionals often struggle while making drawings. Traditional CAD tools rely heavily on complex menus, mouse clicks and commands, which slows down creativity and discourages new learners. At the same time, we live in a world where technology has become more natural.

We swipe on smartphones, sketch with digital pens, and even use our hands to interact with AR and VR devices. Drawing comes naturally to humans, yet when it comes to CAD, we are forced to abandon the natural flow and adapt to technical processes. This is the biggest gap in the present market. CAD is still too mechanical, too structured.

That's where the new idea comes: combining digital pencils or hand gesture inputs with CAD software, supported by AI-powered suggestions. Imagine opening a CAD software, picking up a digital pencil, and simply sketching your idea as if you were drawing on a paper. The software would then interpret the rough sketch, convert it into precise geometry, and even suggest improvements. Just like predictive text on keyboard suggests the next word, this AI-powered CAD system could suggest components and corrections.

For example, if you are sketching the outline of a car body, the software recommend aerodynamic adjustments, or even material properties. If you are designing a mechanical part, the system could highlight possible stress points or propose alternative shapes to improve durability.

This concept benefits multiple groups. For users from students to professionals, design becomes faster and more creative. Buyers, such as companies, design firms and educational institutions would save costs on training and get higher productivity. Small entrepreneurs can create products without spending months learning the software or spending other resources.

From a technical perspective, this idea uses AI-driven shape recognition, natural gesture tracking and adaptive algorithms that learn from user habits. It could integrate VR gloves, or even simple touchscreens.

Over time, This AI would improve, becoming a true design assistant. With advancements in AR/VR technology, machine learning and human-computer interaction, this vision is not far from reality, it's a logical next step.

Case 1:

  • Millions of elderly citizens in old age homes/in their houses spend their days feeling idle, disconnected, and forgotten, bored .
  •  For example, in my hometown, I often see around 10–12 elderly men wandering the streets because they have no work to do. When they were younger, they used to work all day, but now after retirement, they don’t know how to spend their time.
  • Due to lack of physical work, they are getting sick and illness which is affecting their lifespan.

Case 2:

  • Thousands of acres of land remain uncultivated, not due to infertility, but due to inaction and disconnection.
  • Landowners hesitate to invest due to high costs, lack of labor, or migration. These lands could feed communities and restore local ecosystems — but remain idle.

Case 3:

  • Nowadays, the population is growing, but food production is going down. To produce more food, farmers are using more chemicals and harmful substances. This makes the food low in quality and unsafe to eat.
  •  Mostly this is due to lack of labor, because every human wants to grow economically and socially which is a fact !!
  • Organic food often comes with a premium price tag, making it unaffordable for the average Indian household.

< MY VISION TO BRING A CHANGE >

  •  Empower senior citizens by involving and making them to cultivate their nutritious food by farming which help them to engage their day with work and make them fit as well.
  •  Use barren lands in exchange for food instead of rent by retaining the old barter system-asking the landlord the land and in exchange giving him some amount of organic food produced.
  •  Grow toxic-free, chemical-free food grains.
  •  Distribute produce to the senior citizens and sell surplus to markets and make profits as much we can.

Benefits:

  • There are over 36 million elderly people in India, many of whom live in care homes and seek purpose. This creates a unique opportunity to engage them in meaningful work that benefits both them and the community.
  • Rising Urban Demand:The demand for clean, local, and organic food is growing rapidly in urban centers, driven by rising health awareness and a shift toward sustainable, ethical consumption.
  • Fresh, chemical-free grains like rice, pulses, millets, and wheat — grown without toxic chemicals, fertilizers, or GMOs.

Grown by Seniors: Cultivated by senior citizens, who bring care and experience to every crop, ensuring quality and attention to detail.

-> Go-to-Market Strategy :
Emotional Brand Story:Highlight seniors and sustainability to create a strong, heartwarming brand identity.
Social Media Campaigns: Share real stories, faces, and farming moments of senior farmers on platforms like Instagram and YouTube.

In the modern era of the world wide web everything that appears online should be approched with some caution. This is especially true with .exe/pkg files downloaded on your personal computer.

Introducing Trojan Vault ; an AI powered Sandbox Environment that runs as soon as you power on your personal computer. It intercepts downloaded .exe(For windows) , dmg and pkg(for MAC) files and automatically runs it to detect if a file has any trojans or viruses. The platform uses an environment seperate from that of the Local hardware of the PC and thus your harddisk will not be infected. This platform is hassle free and very light to run.

The platform will use the following technologies

  • Micro-VM / WebAssembly Isolation: Each snippet runs in a disposable, ultra-light environment.
  • Cryptographic Attestation: Users and code providers verify the environment before execution (leveraging Intel SGX, AMD SEV, or TPM-based attestation).
  • Granular Policy Engine: Network, filesystem, and API access defined per snippet.
  • Immutable Infrastructure: Each execution destroys itself afterward — no state, no persistence.
  • AI Security Layer: Behavior analysis of code during runtime for anomaly/malware detection

Current Solutions and their Drawbacks

  • Virtual Machines - Long boot times, heavy to run, harder for non tech folks to understand.
  • Cloud compute (AWS Lambda) - Privacy concerns, Pricey Tiers.
  • Anti Virus - Good at detecting viruses but can still leak it on your harddisk.

Who benefits?

  • Common folks with lower knowledge of computers
  • Schools and Colleges
  • People who have Youtube as a career who recieve malicious emails with malicious .exe/pkg files

The motivation behind this idea is my own personal experience which resulted in my 11 year old PC being lost to a Trojan.

Lets make the WWW a better place for the common folks.
Trojan Vault is here to save the day!
