KingCory

Idea: KingCoy- handcrafted , nutritious fish food made in India, made for India-healthy fish, afforadble prices.

Problem

According to PMMSY (Pradhan mantrai matsya sampada yojana) there about 1.25% of urban homes having an aquarium in our country , and ornamental fish market of India is USD 181.7 million in 2022 and 11.6% per year growth in India. Clearly showing the demand for them, but the challenge remains fish food and aquarium accessories.

Currently the Indian aquarium accessories and fish-food market is dominated by Chinese products that are very cheap but are killing both the fish and the water quality, they are just flour with a  label, fed to fish resulting in their early deaths. If left uneaten then they make the water cloudy.  On the other side there are Japanese and North American brands that offer good quality, improving the fish's overall health and are suitable for aquascaping, but  they are too pricy, like way too pricy. Not all shop owners and hobbyist can afford buying them.

The Solution

Made in India aquarium Brand, KingCory , providing “affordable” , nutritious fish food as our MVP , with a roadmap to essential accessories like water heater and filters. The main idea is that good nutrition is given to the fish and shrimp in the aquarium with the customers wallet also kept in check.

Not to confuse the customers we only have 3 types of food, that we are going to sell- one for omnivores ones , carnivores and for algae eating ones. Not D2C but a retail-first brand, supplying made in India aquarium accessories.

Gaps

As mentioned earlier there are two extremes to this story the first is the cheaper extreme, namely the Chinese ones, there are not many Chinese brands out there but only a few that dominate the Indian ornamental fish market, these are just sold for less than 100 and they provide 200 –300 grams quantity. It is full of flour and crude protein, each fish has its own requirement, and these products don't fulfil any of it.  They degrade the overall quality i.e. the water becomes cloudy due to the ammonia spike which is disastrous for planted aqauriums, with just a few granules of food left uneaten, this is very frequent when we use this sort of food .

Now on the other extreme ,there are Japanese and north American products that are made of very good quality ingredients. They also sell  different food as per the requirement of different fish confusing the customer but that is not there major flaw, they have lab tested their food and have years of experience but there major drawback is that, there  price is way too high.

One example is Hikari , NASA  has chosen it  for its special diet for "Space Shuttle" fish keeping experiments. But in India there price is 383 for 22 grams, yes only 22 grams! Same goes for ADA another Japanese product 70 grams for 1400.

So our made in India brand  "KingCory" can bridge this gap.

 Who benefits?

Users (aquarium owner and hobbyists) - it's a win-win situation for the customers, our good quality and multi-ingredient fish food which is only going to enhance the color of the fish, keep them out of stress and keep them active. Without paying huge amounts for them.

Shopkeepers- it's also gonna benefit them, as they  mostly can't afford to buy large quantities of imported fish food so they go toward the cheap Chinese alternatives, but now the markets can have a breakthrough with local brands entering the competition, the shopkeepers can have even better margins with our brand , the Chinese ones also offer them good margins.

Why it matters to me?

I, myself, am an enthusiastic hobbyist, who loves keeping all kinds of fishes  - tropical Amazonians, native species, even exotic ones as well. As discussed, around here I usually see two extremes, cheap low-quality imports, that do more harm than good, or premium brands sold at only aquascaping stores. There are a few Indian brands, but they compete on the same cheap price, as the Chinese ones which, from my personal experience can tell you that they only devastate the water if the fish leave them uneaten. That forced me to go online to buy from some local startups mostly confined to Chennai, Bangalore or Mumbai, with far less reach and poor delivery or the alternative is to buy small sachets of imported Japanese or Canadian ones. So, to meet the requirements of thousands of such hobbyists I came with “KingCory”.

Technical details and ingredient

We will first start by lab testing and tweaking the ingredients until right the nutrition and chemical profile is reached - not based on gut felling but by verified protiens, fats and trace vitamins.

Each product or each 'can' will be handcrafted. Each of our 3 products varities will have different ingredients according to nutrition profile of each type fish.

Whether make 100 packets or 10,000 of them I want it all handmade. All raw materials under our control so we can change the price accordingly leaving us being more flexible compared to branded companies .

To conclude , Our brand KingCory - a retail-first , Made-in-India brand  offering handcafted, labtested and afforable fishfood as our MVP to fill in gap between poor Imports and  costly premuim feeds. The 3 targeted fishfood formulas boost fish healthy, maintains water quality and provides the local shop with better margins. Heaters and filters are also on the road map.

College can be an amazing experience, but it definitely comes with its share of stress. From intense classes to worrying about what comes next after graduation, many students face a lot of pressure. In fact, about one in three students struggles with mental health issues like anxiety or depression. Still, many don’t reach out for help because they’re afraid of being judged, don’t know where to turn, or can’t get timely support. On top of that, many campuses don’t have enough counselors, and some students just aren’t comfortable visiting them.

To help close this gap, I’m suggesting a new platform called MindEase, built just for college students. It mixes smart technology with real human help to give support anytime, anywhere.

Here’s what MindEase brings to the table:

  • A chatbot that’s powered by AI to provide instant emotional support, guide users through calming exercises, and offer quick mental health check-ins.

  • Anonymous forums where students can talk openly and share their stories without fear of judgment.

  • A simple booking tool that lets students schedule online or face-to-face sessions with counselors on campus.

  • Features to track moods and send personalized advice geared toward managing stress.

  • A built-in SOS feature that connects users in urgent situations directly to helplines or campus safety teams.

The goal is to create a safe, private space where students feel comfortable reaching out whenever they need it. On top of that, counselors can use MindEase to spot students who might be at risk early on, helping them step in before things get worse.

This is something I care deeply about because mental health influences more than just grades — it shapes the whole college experience. When students feel supported and understood, campuses become healthier, happier places to learn and grow.

Linksy–Your Hyperlocal Services & Commerce Hub

"Link customers with providers easily"

Problem

India's local services market- including plumbers, tutors, beauticians, trainers, lawyers, electricians, and more- is vast but highly fragmented. platforms like Urban Company do cover a decent amount of these services but they cater only to curated, premium services in Tier 1 and tier 2 cities. They charge high commissions and exclude informal, semi skilled workers. As a result, millions of providers in semi-urban and rural areas lack digital visibility, while customers outside major cities face difficulty in finding affordable and relatable services. Moreover, we use different platforms to find different services, which complicates things.

Market gap:

  • Affordability gap: Current platforms charge high fees, raising costs for consumers while reducing provider income.
  • Accessibility gap: Lack of regional language prevents smaller players from joining.
  • The current platforms treat service providers as their employees, which many people might not prefer, especially when they have a business of their own. We need an app that provides a platform for current businesses' digital presence.

Solution:

An ONDC-A single native services and e commerce marketplace that allows any individual or SME to list services with simple onboarding in local languages. Customers can search, book, and pay seamlessly through ONDC, while providers gain digital visibility without heavy commissions. The platform would include:

  • Regional accessibility: multilingual support
  • Trust layer: Ratings, reviews and verified badges
  • Service Diversity: Education, fitness, repairs, events, healthcare, Lawyers,  e-commerce Provisions
  • Low costs: Minimal commission to keep services affordable and profitable.

Who gets benefited?

  • Users: Access to affordable, hyperlocal service
  • Providres: Increased earnings and digital reach.
  • Communities- Local job creation, stronger trust networks, reduced complexity.

Why this problem matters:

I see firsthand how talented small-time service providers and local businesses are, yet they remain largely invisible in the digital economy. With ONDC’s government-backed momentum—similar to the transformative impact UPI had on payments—this is the right time to democratize access to services.

Being able to access all services available through a single app/website would save people enormous amounts of time and effort. Instead of searching across multiple sources/platforms, customers could easily find everything they need -be it a plumber, a tutor, or a beautician-within one unified platform.

For service providers, the opportunity is even bigger. They can continue running their physical shops while gaining a digital presence that expands their reach and brings in additional customers. This dual model allows them to maximize income without abandoning their existing way of doing business.

In many ways, it creates a true win win situation. Consumers benefit from convenience, trust, and affordability, while service providers gain visibility, credibility, and growth opportunities. By connecting the offline and online worlds through ONDC, we can empower small businesses, strengthen local economies, and make services more accessible to everyone-whether they live in a metropolitan city or a small town

Technicalities:

  • Integration with ONDC APIs for payment and logistics

  • Regional NLP and voice input for easy onboarding
  • Trust framework: Verified profiles, AI driven fraud detection and review systems
  • Scalable architecture for onboarding thousands of micro providers quickly

The reason I want to go via ONDC is to avoid additional charges and create a fair, low cost marketplace where both consumers and service providers benefit without the burden of high platform commissions.

Race Vault - Every season starts ahead

Problem It Solves:

Student motorsport teams such as SAE Baja, Formula Student, and Go-Kart lose important technical experience annually as senior students graduate. They frequently lose design decisions, test data, contacts with suppliers, and interpretation of the rules. The outcome is that new members waste weeks learning the ropes again, repeat the same mistakes, and end up consuming limited budgets on trial and error.

Key issues include:

  • Scattered Data → CAD files, CFD/FEA results, BOMs, telemetry, and supplier info are stored in disconnected folders, drives, or chats.

  • Loss of Design Rationale → Students see the final geometry but not why it was chosen (trade-offs between weight, manufacturability, downforce, and rules).

  • High Onboarding Time → New engineers struggle to understand naming conventions, material picks, and past test failures.

  • Rules & Compliance Drift → Rulebooks change annually, but no system tracks updates or maps them to subsystems.

  • Supplier Memory Lost → Vendor details and procurement insights vanish, forcing every team to start supplier negotiations from zero.

This leads to wasted time, higher costs, and slower innovation—all while competitions demand more technical rigor each year.

Current Market Gap:

Although solutions such as Notion, Google Drive, or Confluence are available, they are generic and do not have motorsport workflows. They do not fit into CAD/CFD/FEA tools, telemetry data, and rulebooks, and they offer no organized way of knowledge transfer. What’s missing is a student-friendly, motorsport-specific knowledge management platform that captures technical decisions, integrates engineering data, and ensures continuity between batches.

My Solution: RaceVault

A digital knowledge-transfer and project management platform designed specifically for student motorsport teams.

Core Features:

  • Subsystem Workspaces → Prebuilt templates for Aero, Suspension, Powertrain, Chassis, and Electronics with standardized fields (constraints, load cases, validation tests).

  • Decision Graphs → Every design choice is linked to alternatives considered, simulations, trade-offs, and final reasoning.

  • Data Integration → Connects with CAD/PDM, CFD/FEA logs, DAQ/telemetry, and BOM spreadsheets; auto-tags and links artifacts.

  • Rules Diff Engine → Upload new rulebook; system highlights changes, flags impacted subsystems, and assigns tasks.

  • Test Data Locker → Stores telemetry, skidpad results, cooling tests, and endurance logs—tagged by driver, setup, and track conditions.

  • Supplier & BOM Manager → Central database of vendor contacts, quotes, lead times, QA notes, and part history.

  • Onboarding Tracks → Role-based learning modules (e.g., “Aero Newbie Path”) pulling best examples from past seasons.

  • AI Copilot → Private AI that answers team-specific queries like “Why did we pick 4130 steel for A-arms last year?” or “What failed in endurance at 70 km/h?”

Who Benefits:

  • Student Teams → Save time, avoid repeating mistakes, and design faster with historical insights.

  • New Members → Onboard quickly with structured training and access to past rationale.

  • Universities → Stronger performance in competitions, improved safety compliance, and better return on funding.

  • Alumni & Sponsors → Continued visibility and assurance that their past contributions are preserved and built upon.

  • Society → Fosters engineering excellence and innovation by ensuring that student projects evolve year after year instead of restarting from zero

Business Model:

RaceVault uses a tiered access scheme that is student-friendly and affordable. At the first tier, Freemium Access will enable all teams to utilize the basic features, including templates, structured storage, and onboarding tracks, entirely without fee implementation. In those teams desiring advanced functionalities, the Pro Subscription offers the team CAD and telemetry integration, the Rules Diff Engine, Supplier Manager, and the AI Copilot, among others, at a modest seasonal price. University Packages, to accommodate multiple-club institutions, provide discounted packages to ensure that a single license is used to benefit SAE, FSAE, and Baja teams. Lastly, alumni or sponsors via the Alumni Sponsorship Mode can sponsor team subscriptions directly and receive reports and a view of how their support is making the next generation of engineers successful.

Why This Matters To Me:

Being a student of Aerospace engineering, an active participant in my university's SAE Baja club, I have come to know during my second year how fragile team knowledge can be. A considerable section of our club constitutes seniors who will graduate this year or next, and with them, much of the useful experience, technical information, and contacts with suppliers will also be lost. The current team is not the only one to suffer this loss, but we who will remain and continue racing in the future will suffer setbacks that will be felt over the long term. With no organized means of preservation of what our seniors know, we tend to make the same mistakes, waste budgets on trial and error, and waste weeks scouring the streets to retrieve some information that was supposed to be at our fingertips.

RaceVault is not merely a tool; it is the insurance of my team in the future. By preserving knowledge and data through every season, it ensures we spend less time retracing old steps and more time innovating, testing, and winning.

Echo - your talent amplified

In the modern era, there are innumerable skilled performers whose struggle is finding the perfect opportunity to deliver their talent. On the other hand, venue owners, wedding planners, and event managers struggle to find efficient performers in a short span of time. Existing solutions, like social media sites or word-of-mouth, are either too vast, unsorted, or insecure with regard to trust and payment. This lack creates disappointment among both performers and organizers, both losing time and possibilities.

My startup solution tackles this issue head-on by designing a specialized platform linking performers with opportunities. Performers can create professional portfolios with videos, ratings, and reviews, whereas organizers can list gig needs including budget, date, and performance type. The platform will suggest the best-matched performers, and inbuilt payment and contract mechanisms guarantee reliability. Technically, the project would entail a web and mobile app developed using a database for user profile management, a recommendation algorithm for intelligent matching, and secure payment integration to conduct the transactions in a secure manner.

The advantages benefit more than one group: artists receive exposure and constant opportunities, organizers are spared effort and time, and audiences eventually have access to improved performances. The project is important to me personally since I am a performing artist myself, and I know how demotivating it is to lack gigs despite possessing talent.

Focusing strictly on performing arts and freelance work, this site addresses a significant market void. Unlike generic sites, it is specifically designed for one reason: to enable artists and simplify collaboration so that talent is actually met by opportunity.

Smart Helmet for Two-Wheeler Riders

The Problem:

Road safety remains a critical concern in India, as hundreds of thousands of accidents involving two-wheelers are recorded annually.
Motorcyclists and other two-wheeler riders are particularly at risk on the roads. Despite strict traffic laws, many riders forget or deliberately try to avoid wearing helmets. Even when helmets are used, they offer only physical protection. In case of an accident, crucial minutes are lost while trying to connect to family members or Emergency Services.

Current helmets in the market focus only on impact resistance, while some advanced smart helmets are available in the global market they are extremely expensive and not tailored for Indian users.

The Solution:

My vision is to provide Smart Helmets in the Indian market at a cheaper and more affordable price as compared to the global market with better protection.
The helmets provided will be certified with all the required safety standards like  "DOT", "ECE", "ISI" which many Indian manufacturers currently overlook.

How It Works:

The Key Features of the Smart Helmet are:

1.Helmet Lock Sensor: The bike will not start unless the Smart Helmet is worn.

2.Accident Detection: The sensors detect unusual tilt or impact.

3.Emergency SOS: In case of an Accident, the GPS location is sent to Contacts and Emergency Services.

4.Hands-Free Assistance: Voice Navigation and Calls can be answered through Bluetooth Assistance.

5.Affordable Design: Use of Low-Cost IoT components which makes the prices affordable.

Who Benefits:

Riders: Gain hands-free navigation, accident alerts, and enforced helmet usage.

Families: Peace of mind knowing loved ones are protected.

Community & Authorities: Reduced accident fatalities and quicker emergency response.

Why This Matters to Me:

As someone who is passionate about bikes and travelling, I face constant parental concerns about safety.
Their fear is reasonable because accidents can happen without warning. This project is important to me because it could not only give peace of mind to families like mine but also protect many lives throughout the nation. Safety must be a priority for everyone, not just a privilege; it should be available to all.

Conclusion:

The Smart Helmet is much more than just a device, it is a vital innovation that saves lives.
By incorporating smart technology at a reasonable price, it enhances rider safety, decreases the number of fatal accidents, and provides comfort and reassurance to families. Unlike other high-end smart helmets on the market, this design prioritizes widespread availability and safety, aiming to make the roads safer for all users.

The On-Demand Fashion Platform

Problem:
The future of fashion often seems to focus on a choice between mass production and high-end, bespoke couture. However, a notable gap exists for personalized, on-demand clothing that is both accessible and unique. Current custom-design platforms are either too complicated for most consumers or produce generic, template-based designs. This disconnect prevents people from bringing their personal style to life in a one-of-a-kind garment without professional designer skills. As a result, we see a uniform fashion landscape and a continuation of the wasteful mass-production model.

Proposed Solution:
The Generative Fashion & Materialization System is an innovative platform that uses multi-modal AI to create and "print" personalized clothing. Users provide various inputs, such as a brief text description (like "a jacket inspired by a cyberpunk cityscape"), an image of a texture or pattern, or even a mood board. The system's generative AI, trained on extensive fashion history, textiles, and architectural forms, generates a series of unique 3D garment designs. Once users select a design, the system produces precise, molecular-level instructions for a special "materializer" machine. This machine combines 3D printing and advanced fabric synthesis to print the garment on-demand, layer by layer, in the user's exact size and material choice. This process removes the need for traditional manufacturing, shipping, and inventory, creating a truly sustainable and personalized fashion experience from concept to creation.

Beneficiaries:
• Individual Consumers: Gain the ability to be their own designer, receiving a unique garment that matches their vision and body measurements.
• Independent Designers & Artists: Have a platform to sell their creative ideas and generative templates, earning money from their artistic vision without the challenges of manufacturing.
• The Entire Fashion Industry: Undergo a major shift towards on-demand, zero-waste production, cutting out overstock, returns, and the logistical drawbacks of traditional retail.

Why it Matters to Me:
I have always been intrigued by the blend of technology and creativity, but the current fashion industry feels stuck in a 20th-century model. The notion that a machine can quickly create a garment that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world, simply from an idea, embodies personal freedom and sustainability. This idea is not just a business model; it represents a significant advancement in how we approach design, manufacturing, and personal expression.

Technical Details:
The core technology employs a large-scale Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) or a similar generative AI model to create new garment designs from user prompts. The materialization machine is a proprietary, multi-axis 3D printer that uses various liquid polymers, dyes, and embedded micro-filaments to fabricate fabric based on a digital plan. The process is directed by a physics-based simulation engine that ensures the final garment has the right drape, stretch, and breathability. This concept moves beyond existing technology and demands a fundamental rethinking of textile engineering and retail logistics.

Urban patch-balcony farm in a box

Idea: "Urban Patch" - Your Balcony Farm in a Box

The Problem

It’s Sunday afternoon, and from my balcony here in Hyderabad, I can see a dozen other balconies that are mostly empty. I’ve spoken to so many neighbours who say they’d love to grow their own fresh mint or cherry tomatoes, but they just don’t know where to start.

The current gap is the sheer hassle. You have to find a good nursery, guess which soil to buy, lug it all home, and figure out what will even survive our city's climate. I tried it once myself, and my sad-looking tomato plant gave up after a month. It feels like you need to be an expert just to begin, so most people don’t.

The Solution: "Urban Patch"

My idea is Urban Patch, a service designed to make starting a balcony garden incredibly simple. Think of it as a "garden-in-a-box," tailored for city life. A friendly box arrives at your door with everything you need: a nice pot, the perfect mix of soil, a little packet of organic seeds, and a super simple guide with pictures. No guesswork, no mess.

The best part isn't just the box; it's the community we'd build. The service would include access to a simple app or WhatsApp group for your local area. Here, you could share pictures of your first sprout, ask for tips if your leaves are turning yellow, and connect with other budding gardeners right in your neighbourhood.

Who Benefits?

• Users (City Residents): Families and individuals get a foolproof and rewarding way to start a new hobby. They can enjoy fresh, pesticide-free produce and bring a small piece of nature into their urban homes.

• Buyers (The Users themselves): The primary buyers are households who want the joy of gardening without the initial frustration and legwork.

• Community (Local Nurseries & Experts): We would partner with local nurseries in and around Hyderabad, giving them a new way to reach customers. It also creates a platform for experienced local gardeners (malis) to share their knowledge and connect with people who need their help.

Why This Problem Matters to Me

For me, this isn't just about vegetables. It's about the feeling. I grew up visiting my grandmother's home, and I still remember the taste of a tomato plucked straight from the vine. Living in a high-rise, I miss that connection to the earth. The simple act of nurturing a plant is incredibly grounding. It’s a way to teach our kids where food comes from and a small, powerful way to make our city a little bit greener, one balcony at a time.

UrbanHarvest: Localized Food Access Network

Problem:

Urban food deserts are a growing issue, leaving millions without easy access to fresh, healthy, and affordable produce. Existing solutions, such as community gardens or farmers' markets, often require significant time, space, or travel, making them inaccessible for many residents. This lack of access contributes to poor nutrition and chronic health issues, and creates a significant gap between the desire for healthy eating and the practical ability to achieve it, especially for low-income or elderly populations.

Proposed Solution:

The Personalized Nutrient & Food Sourcing System is an AI-powered platform that links individuals with local food resources. Users start by inputting their dietary needs, health goals, and budget constraints into a smartphone app. The system then uses AI and real-time data to identify the closest and most affordable sources of fresh produce, including grocery stores with sales, local farmers, and even neighbors with surplus from their home gardens. The app generates personalized shopping lists and recommends optimal routes to gather ingredients, reducing travel time and cost. It can also provide simple, healthy recipes tailored to the available ingredients. This system empowers individuals to make informed food choices and improve their nutrition, transforming a difficult and disconnected process into a simple, guided, and community-powered one.

Beneficiaries:

Urban residents and commuters: Receive immediate, personalized guidance on where to find the most affordable and freshest food.

Vulnerable groups (low-income families, elderly): Get timely alerts on food sales and community food-sharing opportunities to avoid food insecurity.

Local farmers and home gardeners: Gain a platform to connect directly with consumers and reduce food waste by selling or sharing their surplus produce.

Why it Matters to Me:

For many, the cost and effort of finding healthy food can feel like an invisible barrier. Friends with health conditions often struggle to adhere to dietary recommendations because the required ingredients are too expensive or difficult to locate. The "average" grocery store price index felt entirely disconnected from my real experience of finding fresh, affordable produce. This idea would bridge that gap, providing people with the power to see and manage their food sourcing—improving not just their information base but their immediate quality of life.

Technical Details:

The core technology uses a mobile application with AI/ML for personalized food recommendations and route optimization. It fuses public data (grocery store APIs, public health data) with crowdsourced information from users on food-sharing opportunities and local deals. The system is scalable; pilots in small communities or apartment complexes could quickly expand to cities, creating a dense, interconnected food-sourcing network.

The Problem: Why Engines Are So Wasteful
Have you ever wondered why a car's engine gets so hot? Think about it: a shocking 60-70% of the energy in gasoline gets wasted as heat! That's a huge amount of fuel you're paying for that's not actually moving your car. This isn't just a hit to your wallet; it's a major environmental issue, pumping out tons of carbon dioxide (Co2) and other harmful stuff like nitrogen oxides every year. While electric vehicles are the future, we're still going to be relying on these internal combustion engines (ICEs) for a long time, especially in trucks, planes, and boats. That's why we urgently need a way to make them radically cleaner and more efficient right now.

The Limits of Today's Fixes
Current solutions, like catalytic converters, have helped, but they've reached their limit. They're often reactive, meaning they try to clean up the mess after it's already been made, and their effectiveness can be hit-or-miss depending on the conditions. The big push for electric cars has also created a sort of funding gap, with many people giving up on improving the very technology we're still using. What's missing is a solution that fundamentally rethinks the whole process, using smart, modern tech to get more power from every drop of fuel.

Proposed Solution: The Smart Combustion Engine
I'm proposing a revolutionary "Smart Combustion Engine" that uses AI and a network of tiny embedded sensors to optimize itself in real time. This isn't just a simple tweak—it’s about turning the engine into an intelligent, self-aware system. The idea is a closed-loop system that constantly monitors and adjusts everything—the fuel mix, the timing, and more—to achieve perfect combustion in every single cylinder, every single time.

This would be made possible with tough, tiny VLSI sensors built right into each combustion chamber. They'd send a continuous stream of data on temperature, pressure, and exhaust gases to an onboard AI unit. This AI would make instantaneous, millisecond-fast adjustments, ensuring the engine is always running at peak efficiency, no matter the driving conditions, altitude, or fuel quality. This dynamic optimization would replace the old, static engine maps that just can't adapt to the real world.

Who Would Benefit?
Drivers & Consumers: You'd see an immediate and significant drop in fuel costs and get more life out of your engine, thanks to less wear and tear and lower maintenance.

The Environment: By getting more out of every bit of fuel, we’d drastically cut down on emissions right at the source, making a real difference for our planet.

The Automotive Industry: This technology provides a practical, sustainable bridge to a fully electric future, helping car makers meet regulations and offering a new product line of high-performance, eco-friendly vehicles.

Why This Matters to Me
I've always been fascinated by how machines work, and the sheer inefficiency of the internal combustion engine has always bothered me. It feels like a big engineering puzzle that's still waiting for an elegant solution. This idea matters to me because it’s not about giving up on what we have, but about using cutting-edge AI to solve a long-standing problem in a way that feels both intellectually satisfying and has a direct, positive impact on our daily lives and the health of our planet. It’s a way to bring the past and future of automotive technology together for a greener present.

Technical Details
At the heart of the engine is an AI that uses a reinforcement learning model.

It would learn the perfect settings by training in a simulated, "digital twin" environment on millions of different conditions. In the real world, it would use this learned knowledge to make split-second adjustments based on live sensor data.

The VLSI sensors are a key innovation. They are tough enough to handle the extreme conditions inside the engine, feeding a constant stream of high-quality data to a local Edge AI processor—a specialized, low-latency chip that makes sure decisions are made in microseconds.

The system would also offer predictive maintenance, with the AI analyzing sensor data to spot potential issues before they become serious problems, giving you a heads-up and further extending the engine's lifespan.

The Problem:

Every day, I see how much food and organic waste gets thrown away—peels, leftovers, garden clippings. It’s frustrating because all this waste could be useful, yet it ends up in landfills, creating pollution and greenhouse gases. At the same time, energy sources like LPG, petrol, and electricity are getting more expensive and harder to access. So we’re stuck with two problems: valuable waste going unused and rising energy costs.

Gap in Current Solutions:

Most households either rely on composting or throw waste into the bin for municipal collection. Composting can be slow, messy, and requires space and effort, while landfills produce harmful gases. Industrial waste-to-energy plants exist, but they’re centralized, expensive, and far from what a normal household can use. There’s no simple, affordable device that lets people turn their everyday organic waste into energy efficiently.

The Solution:

BioSpark is a small, household-friendly device that changes how we deal with waste. You feed it your food scraps or organic leftovers, and it converts them into biogas using a safe, controlled process. The gas can be used for cooking, heating, or even electricity generation. What’s left behind is nutrient-rich residue that can fertilize your garden. In other words, your waste becomes a resource—helping you save money and reduce environmental impact.

Who Benefits:

Households: Save on energy bills and reduce waste hassle.
Communities: Cleaner streets, fewer landfills, and a push toward sustainable living.
Local Governments & NGOs: Lower waste management costs and promote eco-friendly initiatives.

Why It Matters to Me:

I’ve noticed how much organic waste we generate every day, even in small households, while energy bills keep rising. Seeing these two problems side by side made me think: why not solve both at once? With a device like BioSpark, families can save money, reduce waste, and make a positive environmental impact—all from home. It’s a simple idea with the potential to make everyday life smarter and more sustainable.

Technical Details:

* An airtight digestion chamber with sensors to optimize gas production.
* A gas collection and purification system to make the biogas safe to use.
* User-friendly notifications for feeding waste, checking energy readiness, and managing residue.
* Optional IoT integration for remote monitoring and performance tracking.

In short, BioSpark turns a daily nuisance into a valuable resource. It’s practical, sustainable, and something any household can use to make a real difference for themselves and the environment.

Balcony For Rent?

Recently, more people are getting into the trend of eating healthier. It may be either for their own lifestyle necessities or cause they want to reduce their carbon footprint and attempt to lead a green life. But wait! They realise they don't have the necessary space or sometimes even tools to begin their farming journey.

Solution? Rent your neighbour's balcony or terrace! Many people don't necessarily use their balcony for much other than drying their clothes, and some might not mind letting their neighbours use this empty space to grow some fruits or vegetables, the same thing with terraces. What my platform intends to do is to bridge this gap of available resources to those in need of it via a simple web page where people can post whether they have a balcony or terrace that they can rent out, and also the tools necessary for cultivating some basic vegetables or fruits.

The audience who benefit are basically everyone, group a, those who need space, now have space. Group B, those with empty space can now profit from it and have cleaner air and a greener, livelier balcony/terrace. Group C, those who have the tools necessary for gardening but aren't using them right now for some reason, can now rent them out and gain some profit off of them too, and finally, group d, those not involved with the platform at all now get increased clean air in their surroundings! (Subject to use of the service in the area)

This problem matters to me as I personally am not really inclined to garden because I don't have the time for it, but I see some friends of mine who are trying to free up time, but don't have the space for actually starting their urban farming dreams. Thus, with this, I can help out my friends who want to grow plants and gain some inspiration to try it myself! (I do have plants at home, cacti count) This idea could also motivate more people like me to take small steps toward greener living while helping others achieve their urban farming dreams.
