Regarding traffic congestion

One of the biggest problems humans face at this time is the idea of getting stuck in traffic. Traffic usually scares people as they think about how they might get struck by an accident or they might get stuck, and it may take them a lot of time to reach home. Traffic happens because of an uncontrollable number of vehicles travelling on the main road. This is where the idea of a new data structure came to me.

This data structure is basically about controlling each traffic signal with the help of data structures and check the frequency of vehicles at certain times, and then adjusting the signal accordingly, cooperating with other signals simultaneously. This system can help the police force as there would be less traffic congestion on the road, and people will be able to travel faster during traffic hours.

The benefits are huge, as people don't have to be scared of reaching any place late or that they are stuck somewhere. One more thing is that it can be modified in a better way by giving more time on roads that lead to a hospital, so that even a patient might not get stuck.

Yes, there might be challenges in implementing it, but after a period of time, when people start recognizing how impactful it it will be very useful for traffic congestion.

  • I think the system might face problems if sensors fail or give wrong data — maybe you can talk about what happens in those cases or how errors will be handled.
  • It feels like you’re assuming all roads and signals can be easily connected, but in many areas, old traffic systems might not support that. You could add how your idea would work in smaller towns or older setups.
  • You mention that the system will reduce traffic, but it’s not clear how big the impact would be. Maybe add some numbers or comparisons to show how much time or congestion it could actually save.
  • It might help if you explain how the system can be improved in the future — like adding AI or machine learning later on. That’ll make your idea sound more futuristic
  • Overall, your idea is really creative! Just try to organize it a bit more and add some technical details so it looks well thought out and easy to understand.
  • You can include how this system helps reduce pollution or fuel usage since cars won’t be idling in traffic for long. That’s a nice extra benefit.
  • You could add an example, like how your system would handle a busy junction at rush hour. It'll help people visualize it better.
  • It would be cool if you mentioned where the system will get the data from — like cameras, sensors, or maybe vehicle GPS. That’ll make the idea sound more practical.
  • I like the part about giving priority to hospital roads — maybe you can also add something about emergency vehicles in general, like ambulances or fire trucks.
  • really like your idea, but maybe you could explain a bit more about what kind of data structure you’re thinking of. Like, how exactly would it store and manage the traffic data?
