Re-Mind: The Supply tracker and reminder app

In today’s busy world, people often struggle to keep track of basic household supplies such as- groceries, toiletries or even fuel for vehicles. This causes last minute stress and inconvenient grocery-runs. As a solution to this modern-day problem, I present to you – Re-mind: The supply tracker and reminder app.

How it works:

  • Input data- users enter the items purchased/bills anytime during the month.
  • Groupwise segregation- makes calculations based on which group a user belongs to (eg- student, homemaker, small business).
  • Track usage- based on initial input of the items consumed, an ai model makes an estimate of the longevity of supplies.
  • Periodic reminders- the app tracks usage over time and gives an estimated reminder to restock supplies.
  • Enables reordering- provides already existing sources to reorder supplies based on the bills provided.

Key Features

  • Multi-Category Tracking – Monitors groceries, toiletries, fuel, and other essentials in one app.
  • Usage Analytics – Learns weekly/monthly consumption patterns for smarter predictions.
  • Categorized modes- Helps users according to their requirements (student,
  • Smart Reminders – Notifies users before items run out, customizable by preference.
  • Expense Insights – Dashboard showing monthly spending and usage trends.
  • Easy Reordering – Directly connect to local shops or delivery apps for quick restock.

Gap in the market

70% of households rely on memory or manual lists, causing shortages or waste. Grocery apps enable buying, but none predict usage across multiple categories. A unified, predictive tracker fills this gap, combining analytics, reminders, and reordering into one solution.

Who does it help?

It benefits households, students, professionals, and small businesses by preventing shortages, reducing waste, saving time, and ensuring timely restocking.

Why this problem matters to me?

As a college student living in hostel, I often forget about my stock of supplies- namely toiletries and eatables, thus this tracker would help me manage my supplies and basic monthly expenses.

  • This is such a smart and relatable idea! I love how Re-Mind combines tracking, reminders, and reordering in one app, making it super easy to stay on top of household supplies and avoid last-minute stress.
  • This is a great idea! It’s a simple solution to a very common problem that everyone can relate to. The concept of an app that learns your habits and proactively reminds you to restock is brilliant. You've clearly identified the need for a unified tracker and a smart way to manage supplies.
  • A very strong, practical, and useful idea. Daily tasks, such as household chores and grocery shopping, are often something that can be easily forgotten. While the app offers numerous features, its main selling point is convenience. Adding too many steps for the user could make it feel like another chore.
  • This is a thoughtful idea that addresses a very relatable daily inconvenience and adds value with predictive tracking rather than just listing items. The integration of usage analytics and reminders makes it stand out. A challenge you might want to explore is how to ensure users consistently input data—without easy automation, engagement could drop over time.
  • I really like the idea of categorized modes. It’s great that students, homemakers, and small businesses all get tailored features. How flexible will these modes be if someone’s needs overlap, like a student who’s also managing a small business or shared household?
  • This feels like something a lot of people would actually use. I like how it doesn’t just remind you but also learns your patterns, making it more personal and reliable than a simple checklist.
  • i love that this idea helps manage supplies better. The user analytics part sounds amazing, its not just about reminders but a way to actually understand our habits.
  • This is a really well-thought-out concept... I love how this idea addresses a common pain point that affects so many people, especially in today’s busy lifestyle. The idea of combining predictive analytics with reminders and easy reordering is smart and practical. The multi-category tracking and usage analytics stand out as features that could genuinely save users both time and money. One area that might need a bit more detail is how the AI model estimates usage—like what data it relies on and how accurate it can be over time as habits change. Also, considering privacy and data security when users input bills and purchase info would be important, given the sensitive nature of financial data. Overall, it seems like a very useful app with great potential to fill a real market gap, especially for students and small businesses. Looking forward to seeing how it develops...
  • This is a great idea and really simplifies inconvenient, everyday tasks!
