Nutrigram- The Instagram of Fitness

NutriGram: Your one-stop platform for a balanced and fit life

India has alot of protein deficient people, 73% of the population(almos 100 crore people are protein deficient), and 70% of them don't even know it. For a healthy person, around 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight is needed, for someone who weighs 50 kg, they need 50 g of protein a day. Yet the average Indian gets only about 20 g daily which is way too low.

NutriGram is here to change that. Think of it as the Instagram of fitness and nutrition-a single place where you can get everything you need to live healthier, more balanced lives. Just input your weight, age, height, and activity level, and our AI-driven bot creates a personalized week- or month-long meal plan that balances variety, nutrition, and flavor.

What Sets NutriGram Apart?

- Unlike generic diet AI apps, NutriGram accounts for location, cultural traditions, and budget. For example, beef isn't popular in India, many people are vegetarians, and chicken or whey can be costly or impractical on a daily basis.

- NutriGram tailors diets to local availability and food preferences so you don't have to adopt unrealistic eating habits.

- We don't replace the foods you eat but we adapt and optimize your existing eating habits to make them more nutritious.

Features We Provide

- Location-based meal personalization with budget-friendly swaps.

- Several meal plans for various budgets.

- Recipe book with simple cooking options.

- Meal timers and reminders so you never miss out on nutrition.

- Smart food substitutions (e.g., Coke → Diet Coke, watermelon juice → watermelon slices).

- Budget-friendly comparisons (e.g., 100 g chicken breast = 30 g protein for ₹150 vs. 5 eggs = 30 g protein for ₹25).

Why This Matters to Me

As a regular gym-goer, I spent years trying to get enough protein. I learned about protein quality, amino acid profiles, and balanced eating, and I even taught my own household how to boost nutrition with simple, low-cost protein foods like eggs and whey. That experience inspired me to build a solution that's cost-effective, convenient, and educational-so everyone, from students and parents to rural families, can experience better health.

Who Benefits?

- Low-income families and rural areas.

- Working professionals juggling hectic schedules.

- Children, mothers, and the elderly who often skip protein.

NutriGram isn't just an app-it's a movement against India's protein deficiency, one meal at a time.
