#emergency service (1)

In today’s world, women often face safety risks while commuting, traveling alone, or even performing routine tasks. Existing solutions like panic buttons, emergency helplines, or tracking apps only react after an incident occurs. There’s a critical gap: proactive prevention. Women need tools that not only respond to emergencies but also predict and prevent potential threats before they escalate.

HerSafe addresses this gap by combining traditional emergency services with cutting-edge AI technology. Key features include a panic button app that alerts nearby female responders, police, and trusted contacts, women-only emergency vehicles, live location sharing, and optional voice/video recording to document incidents. What makes HerSafe unique is its AI Threat Predictor: an intelligent system that analyzes real-time surroundings using phone sensors, traffic patterns, local crime data, and optional camera input to predict potential danger zones. The app proactively alerts users before they enter risky areas, helping avoid emergencies entirely.

Who benefits? Women of all ages gain safer mobility in public spaces. Families and communities benefit from reduced crime incidents. Emergency responders are more effective due to faster, targeted alerts. Local authorities can leverage aggregated anonymized data to improve public safety infrastructure.

This idea matters deeply because personal safety is a fundamental human right. Having faced or witnessed situations of harassment or delayed medical help, I recognized the urgent need for a solution that is both reactive and proactive. By integrating AI with human support networks, HerSafe empowers women to reclaim public spaces with confidence.
