GymRat - Your protein tracking app

Whether It's mucle recovery after a tough workout or a long week in college, it's important to have nutritious food.

GymRat is an app that let's you track your protein intake. It lets you remember and log your diet with ease.

Benefits Of The App :

It's simplistic!. But why? Because sometimes it can be a bit intimidating to be bombarded with numbers and statistics.
The point of this app is to be a simple diary for you to input your day's diet. The app then sums up the calories and protein(in g) and presents it, making It convenient and quick to use.

The end goal is for the user to have a track of their diet hassle free.

The design is built to be aesthetic and customizable.

Who does this app cater towards:
The app is for anyone looking for a place to store/log their nutrition information.

This problem matters to me as i'm often forgetful about things!. This app solves the issue of tracking my protein intake easily without me failing to remember the amount.

The market has a lot of highly detailed apps for nutrion tracking, however GymRat is very simplistic and that's its advantage for a customer who doesn't require the earlier.

    • Glad to hear that i'm not the only forgetful person :) and thank you for your thoughts!
  • I might not be a gym-goer but I definitely want to monitor my protein intake as a person with struggles estimating balanced diet intake. I believe GymRat can also be very useful for people who suffer from many protein deficiencies in their diet due to health-complications. It would be great if you could also expand on monitoring different types of intake proteins/ protein sources since each would have a different absorption and utility level by the body. I love the idea! Rooting for you.
    • Thankyou for making some excellent points!
  • I would definitely want to use the app! As someone in college who sometimes feels like I don't have control over my diet, Gymrat would help me feel like I can make active choices to reach my nutrition goals. I also appreciate prioritising simplicity, since a lot of nutrition tracking apps can be confusing and too specific. However, my only criticism is that I would like it to have a few more features such as insights into how I can improve my diet based on the information I provide it with.
    • Thankyou for your insight!
