False alarms about politics, health, finance and also the current events can go viral within a few minutes of posting. The post reaches billions before they know if it’s true or false. This leads to panic and public confusion. But a browser extension makes this easier which can verify news content using fact checking API (application programming interfaces)

Most solutions in the current market requires on users to manually report the fake content. Content shared across platforms often bypasses the detection test. Users don’t have a simple system or tool to fact-check the information. Current fact-checking resources are mostly in English only, but the misinformation is often spread in their native languages.
