* **Solve a real-world problem.**

  Dehydration is one of the most common but underestimated health issues. Even mild dehydration can lead to headaches, fatigue, lack of concentration, and lower physical performance. Despite knowing the importance of water, many people—students, professionals, and athletes—still fail to stay properly hydrated throughout the day.

 

* **Highlight gaps in the current solutions/market.**

  Existing solutions such as water bottles with time markers or reminder apps are too generic. They don’t adapt to the user’s lifestyle, activity level, or environment. For example, someone working outdoors in high heat needs different hydration reminders than someone sitting in an office. Current options lack personalization and often fail to build consistent habits.

 

* **Explain who benefits (users, buyers, community).**

  Individuals benefit by having more energy, focus, and better overall health. Employers and schools benefit from improved productivity and reduced health-related downtime. On a larger scale, communities and healthcare systems benefit by reducing preventable dehydration-related conditions like kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and chronic fatigue.

 

* **Share why this problem matters to you.**

  Hydration has a direct impact on my daily performance and well-being. When I drink enough water, I feel more energized, productive, and focused. Experiencing this difference firsthand motivates me to help others avoid the negative impacts of dehydration and unlock the benefits of proper hydration.

 

* **Optionally add technical details.**

  A smarter hydration system could integrate wearable devices and environmental data (temperature, humidity, activity level) to provide personalized hydration reminders. Instead of one-size-fits-all solutions, this approach would adapt to each person’s unique needs, making hydration both easy and efficient
