Problem:

Ransomware & data breaches are among the biggest threats in CSE.

Hackers steal or lock sensitive information (e.g., bank, hospital, government data) and demand payment.

Causes: weak passwords, phishing, outdated software, poor security policies.

Impact today: financial loss, data leaks, loss of trust, even national security risks.

Solution:

Zero Trust Security → “Never trust, always verify” (every access request is verified).

AI-driven threat detection → ML models detect unusual behavior instantly.

Blockchain for data storage → tamper-proof and decentralized records.

Regular updates & awareness → patching systems and training users.

Working (How it functions):

1. AI monitors activity → detects abnormal login attempts or sudden file encryption.

2. System auto-isolates threats → infected devices are cut off before spreading.

3. Zero Trust authentication → every request (even inside the company network) is re-verified using MFA (multi-factor authentication).

4. Blockchain backup → keeps encrypted, distributed copies of important data, so even if hackers attack, data isn’t lost.

5. User awareness programs → reduce phishing success rates drastically.

Impact & Change:

Short-term impact:

Fewer successful ransomware attacks.

Faster detection & response (minutes instead of days).

Long-term change:

More secure digital infrastructure for banks, healthcare, government, and individuals.

Reduced financial losses and protection of sensitive data.

Higher trust in online systems → smoother digital economy growth.

  • The project could discuss challenges in implementing these solutions, such as cost, privacy, or training requirements.
  • Consider adding visuals like a diagram or flowchart to show how the system detects and stops attacks.
  • Great Idea Sishir, the use of AI and ML for Cybersecurity is a good choice.
  • Including a short conclusion summarizing your vision for a secure digital future would make it feel more complete.”
  • Well-written and easy to understand even for non-technical readers. The real-world examples make it practical
  • I like how the project explains both short-term and long-term impacts — it shows awareness of how technology shapes society
  • Clear and structured presentation. The use of AI, Zero Trust, and Blockchain shows good understanding of modern security strategies
  • Very relevant topic ransomware is one of the most serious cybersecurity challenges today. The project does a great job connecting technical and social aspects of the problem
  • Your solution includes every popular tech buzzword from AI to Blockchain, which sounds powerful but also incredibly expensive and complicated. It would be more realistic if you focused on one key part or explained how a normal company could actually afford this system.
  • This is a persuasive solution because it includes state-of-the-art technology (AI, Zero Trust, blockchain), as well as awareness training in a practical way, making this a truly comprehensive answer. You can take this solution to the next step by highlighting some implementation considerations (e.g. cost, scalability, or user adoption) to make it more of an actionable solution.
