PriceHawk-A Dynamic Pricing Engine

“PriceHawk

              - An eye on your market”

I have always wondered why big companies (such as Uber, Airbnb, and Amazon) are constantly upskilling their game, while small ones struggle.

The big companies have already been using dynamic pricing in the backend to attract customers/sales each time an opportunity comes by.

The problem:

Unfortunately, small businesses don’t have access to these tools. They either charge too high or too low because they guess prices instead of optimizing them or they remain silent with their original pricing which in turn is hindering its growth.

My idea:

So, what PriceHawk does is takes in the seller's input

Their product/service worth

Competitors data

demand trends (such as if it's a holiday, weekend, or events)

customer groups

The locality where the customer lives.

Using Game Theory [auction theory, Nash equilibrium algorithms] we predict our competitors' pricing ranges and ML to analyze the past events, demands, and customer willingness to pay.

We create a “DYNAMIC PRICING ENGINE” that suggests the "best price in REAL TIME” while anticipating their competitors’ moves.

What's unique and why is it even required?

For instance, Uber already uses complex algorithms to maximize their profits in a crazy strategic way, which is quite fascinating tbh!

We here make the same power accessible to small ones in

→easy to use

→affordable

and in →real time

The result?

Even small businesses can maximize their sales, adapt to demands and keep them going without any hassle just like the other big ones in the market.

  • You’ve built a strong concept, but it would help to briefly explain how PriceHawk updates or suggests prices in real time — this will make your solution sound more practical and convincing.
  • You’ve explained the idea very well, but it would be even stronger if you showed a short example like how a small shop’s price changes before and after using PriceHawk — to make the impact more real and easy to visualize
  • You could describe how a small business owner actually uses the tool — for example, what they see on the dashboard, what inputs they provide, and how the “best price” is presented
  • The idea of using game theory and ML together is very creative and forward-thinking.Mention how PriceHawk can adapt across industries or geographies.
  • It’s a practical and impactful concept that could genuinely help many local sellers grow. You could clarify if the tool automatically updates prices on platforms (like Shopify or Zomato) or just provides suggestions.
  • Some AI-based pricing tools already exist. Highlight how PriceHawk is more affordable, simpler, or specifically tailored for small local sellers rather than large enterprisesI like how you’re making complex pricing tools simple and affordable for everyone.
  • This is a really smart and unique idea.Explaining whether it uses APIs, public listings, or third-party integrations would make the solution more concrete and believable.
  • Your solution sounds powerful! You could additionally explain how your engine balances profit vs customer satisfaction. For example if the “best price” is slightly higher, how do you ensure it doesn’t scare them away?
  • You’ve explained the gap really well! Small business owners may be cautious about “algorithms” deciding prices, so if you highlight that your tool only suggests prices (and owners have the final say), it could make them more comfortable adopting it.
  • This is a really interesting and practical idea! One thing you could add is a bit more clarity on how simple it will be for a non-technical small business owner to use. For example, will it work through a mobile app, a dashboard, or plug directly into their sales system?
