1.Real world problem::

Poorely designed and unmanged drainage system cause urban floooding waterlogging and health hazards.in many cities drains get clogged with plastic,construction waste,or silt.during heavy rains,this leads to water stagination,damgeded roads,breeding of mosquitoes,and disruption of daily life.trading drainge relies on manual insepection which is slow,reactive, and inefficent .

2.Gaps in current solutions ::

--public unawareness:citizens cannnot easily report blockages or monitor drainage health.

--reactive approach:drainage system lack real-time senors to datect blockages.

--manual cleaning inefficiency:cleaning schedules are fixed,not based on actual blockages .

--limited monitoring:most drainges system lack real-time senors to detect blockages.

3.who benefits::

--Urban Residentes::readuced flooding,safer roads,lower risk of waterborne diseases.

--municipal Authorites::efficient drain maintenance,reduced emergence costs.

--local businesses::less down time caused by flooding around shops/markets.

4.Why this Problem Matters to me::

Flooded streets and open,clogged drains are problems many of personally face during monsoon seasons. it affects safety ,transporation,education(school closures),and even livehoods.i care about this because solving it means making cities more resilient,livable,and sustainable --not just for today but for the next genertion.

5.optional technical details::

--Iot senors::installed in critical drains to monitor water level,flow speed, and blockages .

--AI-powerded predication::integers real-time senors data+rainfall forecasts to warm about poential flooding.

--Moblie app for citizens::allows residdents to report blockages wkith photos,get flood alerts,and track cleaning status.

--Automated cleaning robots ::small robatic devices  that can enter narrow drains and clear blockages.

--GIS  Mapping Dasboards::city authorities to visualize the drainages health of the entire city in real-time.

--Benifits everyone :residents enjoy safer,cleaner neighborhoods,businesses avoid downtime due to flooding and city authorities save money by shifiting from emergency respones to preventive maintenance peronally..
