PathOut (a pathway out of poverty)

Poverty is one of the biggest challenges in our world today. Every day, millions of people struggle to find steady work, learn useful skills, or manage their limited money. Most solutions focus on short-term fixes like food, cash, or aid. While these are important, they don’t address the deeper issue: helping people stand on their own feet.

That’s where PathOut comes in. It’s a mobile app designed to give people real chances to earn, learn, and grow.

The app brings together three key tools:

  • First, it offers free training in practical skill like digital literacy, tailoring, carpentry, and small business basics.
  • Second, it connects users with micro-jobs in their area, from delivery and repair work to tutoring and online gigs. This means quick income and valuable experience.
  • Third, the app teaches simple money management and links people to safe savings options and micro-loans, so they can plan for tomorrow instead of just surviving today.

PathOut is especially helpful for low-income families, unemployed young people, and women who often face fewer job opportunities. Local businesses also benefit because they can easily find affordable workers. And at a bigger level, communities grow stronger when more people can support themselves. Even governments and NGOs can use the app’s data to understand where help is needed most.

This matters to me personally because I’ve seen hardworking people remain stuck in poverty simply because the right opportunities never reached them. PathOut is about changing that, it’s not just about giving temporary help, but about offering hope, skills, and tools that can break the cycle of poverty.

from poverty to possibility, by breaking the cycle and building the future.
