The absence of robust auto-correct and prompt enhancement features in large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and Gemini presents a significant real-world problem. Unlike typical text editors or search engines that offer spell-checking and query refinement, current LLM interfaces largely leave the burden of crafting effective prompts entirely on the user.

 

Gaps in Current Solutions/Market

  1. Lack of Real-time Prompt Correction: There's no equivalent of "Did you mean?" for LLM prompts. Typos, grammatical errors, or awkwardly phrased questions can lead to suboptimal or irrelevant responses, without the user being alerted to the potential issue.

  2. Absence of Prompt Enhancement Suggestions: Users often struggle to formulate prompts that elicit the best possible responses. Current interfaces don't offer suggestions to make prompts clearer, more specific, or to add context that would improve the LLM's output.
