“Most private communities today are run by Homeowners’ Associations, where a small board makes decisions for everyone. This often leads to slow processes, lack of transparency, and residents feeling left out.

Our idea is to replace that model with a direct democracy system. Every resident gets a voice, and decisions are made through secure digital voting. Should we fix the gym or upgrade the garden? Instead of waiting on a board, the whole community decides.

Our service handles the everyday management—maintenance, accounting, vendor contracts—while giving residents the power to vote on important issues. It’s transparent, fast, and fair.

In short, we’re transforming private communities from being controlled by a few people into being shaped by everyone who lives there.”

  • This is a strong and innovative idea that tackles a real pain point in community management. To strengthen it further, you could explain how you’ll ensure secure, tamper-proof digital voting and also address how you’ll prevent decision-making from becoming too fragmented or slow when many people are involved.
  • Great idea for a current existing problem
  • This is a brilliant idea that empowers every resident with a true voice, making community living more transparent, fair, and inclusive.
  • This is an excellent idea that modernizes community governance by addressing the common pain points of traditional HOAs with a direct democracy model. To strengthen the proposal, define the strategy for driving resident participation to avoid decision-making by a vocal minority and clarify how routine versus major issues are categorized. By fostering transparency and shared ownership, this has the potential to significantly boost resident satisfaction and community engagement.
