 Laundry Pickup & Delivery for Hostel Students

Problem

Hostel students often struggle with laundry. The timings don’t suit everyone, queues are long, and it’s easy to forget or they loose your dress after washing . This leads to last-minute stress and sometimes even re-wearing unwashed clothes.

Solution

A student-run pickup and delivery service where students book laundry slots via WhatsApp/Telegram or a simple Google Form. The service picks up clothes from the hostel room, drops them at the laundry, and delivers them back after washing.

Advantages

  • Saves time and effort for hostel students

  • Reduces messy laundry queues

  • Creates part-time earning opportunities for student entrepreneurs 

  • need not have fear of loosing cloths 

Cost

  • Students pay a small fee (₹50–70 per pickup)

  • Or a monthly subscription (₹300–800) for unlimited pickups

    especially where collage washing are too busy and doesn’t wash even well , getting cloth was and ironed for such a low cost and hassle free service .

    This is such a fantastic idea! You've perfectly identified a huge pain point for hostel students – laundry is always a hassle.
