    🚭✋ Smart Habit Breaker Device:

  • Some habits once made are very hard for many people to get rid of them .
  • I myself have seen many people in my life who cannot stop the habits like smoking and biting nails. Even thought knowing about the health consequences
  • Thats why I came across FingerHalo a wearable device that detects hand-to-mouth habits (like nail-biting and smoking) and gently alerts the user, helping them break the behavior over time.

    How FingerHalo Works??   

      1. Detection System

  • Motion Sensors (Accelerometer + Gyroscope): Track arm/hand movement patterns.

  •  IR Sensor: Detects when fingers/cigarette approach the mouth.

  • Pattern Recognition AI: Learns the difference between eating, drinking, smoking, and nail-biting.

      2. Feedback System

  • Haptic Feedback: Gentle vibration when the habit is detected.

  • Sound or Light Alert (optional): A discreet beep or LED glow.

  • It's a cool idea...I like how it alerts the user, it feels smart but super practical for breaking habits
  • Smart idea! Feels less like a gadget and more like a mini coach on your finger. If you add a feature to stop constant face/hair touching too, this could save people from both bad habits and bad skin
  • FingerHalo is a great idea for breaking bad habits! Adding a social feature to track progress with friends could make it even more motivating and fun.
