People are often unaware if election-related promises are fulfilled. Politicians aren't reviewed like products or services; sometimes a Zomato restaurant feels more accountable than a minister. People lose interest and question whether their votes actually have an impact when there is a lack of transparency.

There aren’t any platforms where citizens can track their leaders, rate their promises or verify their promised delivery. Information is always scattered, biased, or buried, which makes governance unclear making it lack transparency.

Electra is a platform that allows citizens to view, rate, and track promises in real-time, making accountability into a reliable system. It is similar to Yelp or IMDb, but for politics.

This platform includes the following features:

  • Leader Profiles: Each politician will have an active profile that displays their accomplishments, pledges, and public opinion.
  • Issue-Based Reviews: allows the users to rank the quality of services in important areas such as infrastructure, safety, healthcare, and employment.
  • Fact-Check Layer: AI recognizes promises from misleading information by comparing statements to official data.
  • Election Mode: Voters are provided with clear insight into who truly succeeds by viewing live ratings, performance scores, and past performances prior to casting their ballots.
  • Performance Feedback: Leaders receive honest, open feedbacks; underperforming leaders experience a decline in their scores, which may affect their eligibility in the future.

This platform benefits:

  • Voters: All voters can hold politicians accountable and make educated decisions by gaining clear, up-to-date facts about their leaders performances. Because citizens can monitor the real implementation of those promises and every vote gains significance.
  • Honest leaders: They Gain reputation as well as global trust by keeping their word. Since everyone can see their results and transparency, more leaders tend to get inspired to act responsibly.
  • Civil society: Benefits from more transparency and citizen involvement, which lowers corruption and creates an environment where government is transparent, accountable as well as trackable.

As a student, I feel that leaders take pleasure of their fame and authority without taking responsibility. Why can't the public review politicians like they can review movies and apps? Electra gives people a voice beyond election day.

AI + crowdsourced reviews + blockchain ensures ratings can’t be faked or manipulated.

  • This is such a bold and powerful idea Sahasra, Electra really has the potential to shift politics toward transparency and accountability, allowing citizens a voice that lasts beyond election day. I admire how you’ve blended tech, fact-checking, and community to make democracy stronger. Just be mindful of bias and data security... the platform’s credibility will depend entirely on how fair and open it feels.
    • You are completely right;Electra places a high priority on data security, fairness, and credibility. Our main goals are to make sure that all data is protected, sources are open, and information is validated. In order for citizens to participate with confidence and have their voices heard after election day, we want to make political engagement more trustworthy, accountable, and informed.
  • Thats crazy
  • A brilliant step toward making politics transparent, trackable, and accountable in real time.
  • Electra feels like the missing piece in democracy. If citizens can openly review restaurants or apps, why not politicians who shape our future? The combination of AI, crowdsourced reviews, and blockchain makes this platform credible and tamper-proof. It not only empowers voters to make informed decisions but also motivates honest leaders to maintain transparency. Electra could truly redefine accountability in politics.
  • Electra is more than just a platform-its a movement towards making democracy more trackable and accountable. Such an impactful and innovative idea
  • Electra feels like the missing link in democracy—finally giving citizens a way to track, rate, and fact-check politicians just like apps or restaurants. It makes accountability transparent and interactive, putting real power back in voters’ hands. A much-needed step toward honest governance.
  • That’s a great idea Electra would truly empower citizens to hold leaders accountable with transparency and trust. It makes democracy feel as interactive and impactful as reviewing a service or product.
  • Very nice idea, I think that it clearly identifies a real-world problem (lack of political accountability), highlights the gap (no central transparent platform to track promises), and proposes a solution (Electra) in a structured way.
  • Electra is a powerful and timely idea! By bringing transparency, accountability, and citizen voice into one platform, it transforms the way we engage with democracy. I love how it combines AI, crowdsourced reviews, and blockchain to ensure fairness and trust, while making politics as reviewable and trackable as everyday services
