EcoTorque - Modular Hybrid Powertrain Kit

Problem:

Today, millions of cars on the road are traditional petrol and diesel vehicles that rely on fossil fuels.
Switching these vehicles to new hybrid or electric models is too costly for many people, particularly in developing countries.

Older vehicles tend to emit more pollutants, use fuel less efficiently, and are often prohibited in urban areas due to their environmental impact.
This forces people to either invest a large sum in purchasing a new car or continue polluting by using their old vehicles.

Solution:

I suggest the development of a retrofit modular kit that includes a secondary electric drive system for existing cars.
This kit is easy to install. It is plug and play and does not require complete redesigning of the vehicle.

Mechanical Design Features:

Electric Motor Module -It is Installed near the crankshaft, transmission, or rear axle, depending on the car's structure.

Compact Battery Pack - Made of lithium-ion or solid-state technology, It is designed to fit in the spare tire compartment or under the trunk.

Mechanical Coupling System - A clutch-like mechanism that connects or disconnects the electric motor from the drivetrain as needed.

Regenerative Braking Add-on - Captures energy during braking and uses it to charge the battery.

Control Unit - Automatically switches between electric, hybrid, or petrol-only modes based on driving conditions.

How It Works:

In city driving, the electric motor manages low-speed movement, ideal for stop-and-go traffic.

On highways, the petrol or diesel engine provides main power, while the motor supports during acceleration.

During braking, the regenerative system collects energy and stores it back into the battery.

Drivers can choose from different modes: Eco (Hybrid), Electric-only (for short trips), or Power (for combined performance).

Impact And Change:

Fuel Savings: Reduces petrol or diesel use by 30–40%.

Emission Reduction: Decreases CO2 emissions and other gases, leading to cleaner cities.

Affordability: Costs much less than buying a new hybrid vehicle, making eco-friendly transportation accessible to the middle class.

EcoTorque Prolongs the life of existing vehicles instead of replacing them, which reduces the environmental impact of manufacturing.
