13713221058?profile=RESIZE_710xBeing an undergraduate student in CS-AI and a graphic designer, I’ve noticed how much money new startups, especially in technology and gaming, spend on design services that are both high-quality and affordable. At the same time, many freelance designers, particularly students and young professionals, struggle to find meaningful work outside traditional agencies and established networks.

Dazl seeks to bridge the gap by unifying startups and independent designers so they can work together to create actual projects, learn, and build portfolios. While Dazl is most appropriate for technology startups, SaaS, and gaming/esports, where design is the most critical element, it can be adapted to serve other industries which need innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Some of the features are:

Verification Levels: Subscription-based verification for entrepreneurs and designers assists in establishing trust. Experience and work history are highlighted in verified accounts, enabling users to make informed decisions based on better information.

Rating System: Genuine ratings and reviews assist in creating authenticity and enable freelancers and startups to effortlessly gauge the quality of collaboration.

Milestone Payments: Work is divided into defined milestones with predetermined deliverables, making it possible for businesses to project their budget and compensate freelancers appropriate remuneration for their efforts.

Escrow System: Money is safely kept in escrow until project milestones are approved, both for financial security and peace of mind for all parties.

AI-Assisted Matching: Smart matching by ability, experience, and availability enables teams to find the most suitable collaborators without difficulty.

Startups building new apps, platforms, or games have affordable, quality design services at their disposal. Freelancers also have the chance to work on projects that allow them to build capabilities, networks, and future opportunities. Dazl is not just a marketplace, it's a community where trust is built, creativity is fostered, and growth is promoted.

This is close to my heart because creative potential is likely to remain unfulfilled, and startups unnecessarily get handicapped for lack of it. By bridging businesses and freelancers in an organized, secure, and collaborative environment, Dazl looks to create a platform on which ideas and designs can evolve together.

Love the concept of bridging talent and opportunity. If Dazl can figure out how to scale trust and quality while keeping the community feel intact, it has serious potential to rival the bigger platforms.
  • Dazl smartly connects startups with freelance designers, offering trust, affordability, and growth for both sides.
  • This is a great idea the escrow + milestone payment system combined with AI-assisted matching makes Dazl stand out. I like how it builds trust, ensures fairness, and truly empowers both startups and freelance designers to collaborate and grow.
  • Love the idea! Startups get affordable, high-quality design, while student designers and freelancers gain real projects and experience—a true win-win.
  • I like how this bridges startups and young designers, though scaling against established platforms may be a challenge.
  • Dazl is a strong idea that addresses two real gaps: startups struggling with affordable, high-quality design, and freelancers lacking opportunities to showcase their skills. The trust-building features like verification, escrow, milestone payments, and ratings make the platform safer and more reliable than typical freelance marketplaces. The AI-assisted matching is also a smart addition that reduces friction in collaboration. The challenge will be standing out in an already competitive freelancing market (like Fiverr and Upwork) and ensuring enough traction on both the startup and designer sides. Still, the focus on building a genuine community around creativity and trust gives Dazl real potential to thrive.
  • Dazl is an amazing idea, solves the issue of student artists not getting jobs even though they are talented. The smart matching feature is really good too.
  • Dazl is a thoughtful idea that tackles a real gap between startups and freelance designers. I like how it balances trust, security, and creativity with features like milestone payments and AI matching. One thing to refine could be making sure it doesn’t feel too much like just another freelance marketplace-emphasizing the community and collaboration angle more strongly would help it stand apart.
  • Excellent idea solving a clear need for both startups and freelance designers. The focus on building a trusted, AI-matched community is a great angle. This definitely has a lot of potential. Well done!
