Many commuters, drivers, and pedestrians are presently at the mercy of unexpected delays at level crossings while passing under railway tracks since gates are suddenly closed for the arrival of a train. The uncertainty leads to traffic jams, wastage of time, and even dangerous practices when people rush across at the last minute before the gate closes.
The app will show the *live status of railway gates* on the basis of train schedules and GPS-based updates. Users can check whether a local gate is open or closed and receive an approximate reopening time. The app will send push notifications beforehand, enabling them to plan their route ahead. The app can also recommend *alternate routes* when it is closed, reducing waiting time and facilitating smooth traffic flow.
