However, these skills often stay hidden, while students spend money on external courses or workshops. This creates a real-world problem: there is no structured way for students to share and learn from one another within the campus itself.

Campus Connect addresses this gap by providing a peer-to-peer skill-sharing platform limited to the university community. Unlike external platforms, which are often expensive and impersonal, this system leverages the diversity already present in a university. It values both “big skills” (like tutoring, programming, or graphic design) and “small skills” (like public speaking, event planning, or guitar playing), ensuring everyone has something to offer and something to learn.

The beneficiaries are threefold:

Technically, the platform could be designed as an app or website using university logins. Features may include skill listings, booking options, ratings, and event scheduling for regular “Skill Swap Days.” In the long run, Campus Connect can transform campuses into ecosystems of shared growth, where every skill—big or small—is valued.
