One of the biggest challenges online shoppers face today is finding the best deal for a product across multiple websites. Prices vary widely between e-commerce platforms, and many times users miss out on additional discounts, coupons, or bank offers simply because they are not aware of them. This leads to overspending and a frustrating shopping experience. My idea is to build an AI-powered website that searches the web for a specific product and returns not only the site with the lowest base price, but also calculates the best possible price after applying available offers. For example, the system would factor in bank discounts, coupon codes, seasonal deals, or cashback opportunities, and display a step-by-step guide on how to claim them. Current solutions like price comparison sites only display raw prices without considering applicable offers or dynamic discounts. This gap makes it difficult for users to know the actual lowest price they can pay. My solution bridges this gap by combining real-time web scraping, AI-based deal recognition, and optimization algorithms to give the user the most cost-effective purchase path. The primary beneficiaries are online shoppers, especially students, working professionals, and families looking to save money on essentials or gadgets. In the long term, this tool can foster smarter consumption habits, reduce impulsive buying, and increase trust in digital shopping. This problem matters to me because I have often spent hours comparing prices manually, only to realize later that I missed a better offer. An AI-based assistant that ensures transparency and savings will save both time and money, making online shopping stress-free.

  • Your idea addresses a real pain point in online shopping by going beyond basic price comparison to offer a comprehensive, AI-powered deal optimization tool. It smartly combines web scraping, offer aggregation, and AI-driven insights to help users find the **true lowest price**, not just the listed one. The concept is highly relevant, especially for price-sensitive shoppers, and has strong potential to enhance transparency, save time, and promote smarter buying decisions.

  • This is a fantastic and highly practical idea. You've correctly identified that the "lowest price" isn't the same as the "best deal."

The key innovation here is moving beyond simple price comparison to **purchase path optimization**. By factoring in all available offers and showing users *how* to claim them, you're solving a much deeper frustration for online shoppers and providing immense, actionable value. A brilliant concept!
  • I really liked how clearly the concepts were explained, especially with examples it made difficult topics much easier to follow. Sometimes the pace was a bit fast; maybe slowing down or revisiting key points at the end would help.
  • The examples with step-by-step breakdown really made the logic behind algorithms clear. It would be great to also show common mistakes students make so we can avoid them.
  • That's a brilliant concept for an AI-powered price comparison platform!
It could save users time and money by optimizing offers smartly.
Adding real-time data could make it even more competitive.
Consider integrating user reviews for a personalized touch!1.7sFast
  • Your enthusiasm was contagious — it made me actually want to study algorithms! Some of the slides were text-heavy; maybe add flowcharts or infographics to simplify.
  • I liked how you encouraged us to think independently instead of just giving the answer. Sometimes the doubts raised by students weren’t fully addressed maybe dedicating a Q&A slot would help.
  • Your problem solving strategies were very systematic, almost like a step by step recipe very useful!. Could add a short summary at the end of each topic so we don’t lose track of the main takeaways.
  • The structured approach to problem solving was really helpful. I now feel more confident about tackling coding problems. Some of the diagrams could have been more detailed; visuals would make it easier to remember.
