Agriculture has always been the backbone of our economy however it is the least paid attention to when we think about economy. Farmers lack access to professional networks that connect them with peers, experts, and opportunities. While most office workers rely on LinkedIn to build careers and collaborations, farmers use their local connections for most things. This gap prevents them from accessing new techniques, reliable buyers, and financial services, limiting both income and growth.

AgriLink addresses this gap by becoming the first dedicated professional networking platform for farmers. Much like LinkedIn, every farmer can create a profile showcasing their crops, land practices, certifications, and achievements. They can connect with other farmers, agriculture businesses, suppliers, NGOs, and government bodies. Unlike regular platforms, AgriLink uses features made for agriculture.

The beneficiaries are farmers , buyers, suppliers, and communities . By leveraging cloud computing, AgriLink can scale securely, store farmer data transparently, and even integrate offline SMS features for those in low-connectivity regions.

This problem matters to me because agriculture is not just an industry but a lifeline for millions. Yet, farmers often remain disconnected from the digital economy that drives other sectors. AgriLink aims to close that digital divide, giving farmers the same professional recognition and opportunities enjoyed by corporate workers.
