Agriculture has always been the backbone of our country, but in reality, many farmers struggle to sustain their livelihood due to unstable crop prices, middlemen, and climate challenges. On the other hand, people living in cities increasingly desire authentic rural experiences—spending time on farms, understanding how food is grown, and reconnecting with nature. Agri-tourism is a growing solution, but currently it is unorganized and limited to a few expensive resorts. Most farmers do not have the tools or visibility to showcase their farms and services to the public.

This is the gap my idea addresses. My concept, AgriConnect, is a digital platform designed to directly connect farmers with tourists, families, and educational institutions. It removes middlemen and makes farm experiences accessible, affordable, and transparent.

Key Features:

• Verified farm profiles where farmers list their stay options, activities (crop harvesting, tractor/bullock cart rides, organic cooking, nature walks), and pricing.

• Easy online booking and secure payments.

• Special packages for schools and colleges to organize field trips, helping students learn practically about agriculture.

• Integrated local marketplace where farmers can sell organic produce, traditional foods, and rural handicrafts directly to visitors.

• A transparent rating and feedback system to build trust and ensure quality.
